Anyone else tired of this yet!? Santa is white plain and simple. Why is it that other races feel the need to change a characters orgin just to fit their needs.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0373908/The Honeymooners 2005 ruined a great franchise. There was no reason to ever make these characters black. What if white people made a movie from the hit 70s tv show Sanford and Son but instead had Abe Vigoda and Ben Stiller play the stars? Every black person would be up in arms because we are changing the story and trying to hold the black actors down.

Maybe for fun we this year on Martin Luther King Jr. Day we should all get a pic edited to make Martin look white and put it on t-shirts. Its about what he did not the color of his skin right?

To all those who say, "if you don't agree with it don't open the thread" Well you're right, I knew this was going to make my brain hurt but I read it anyway. Guess I'm a glutton for punishment. If the race of a fictional character really bothers you so much I can only assume that either 1.) you have no real problems in your life or 2.) you find mundane shit to get upset about so you don't have to think about any actual problems.

Was this for me?

Not calling Jesus fictional at all. Jesus is usually pictured as a white guy but he's from the Middle East. Odds of him being white? Zero.

Also, Saint Nicholas is from Turkey.

I think it was directed to me. If Santa is real then we're dealing with a criminal mastermind. The guy has been getting away with 3 billion B&E's a year for hundreds of years with not even so much as a confirmed sighting. Remarkable.

Are you saying that there aren't any white people that originated from Middle Eastern countries?

It could be that your definition of a white person is different from many.
