You mention FF and Policeman and such. Thtey dont really get sent to foreign countries for 6mo to a year at a time. Most of them get to come home each night, sleep in their own beds and be a normal person.

There are a few policemen in our unit that have been deployed mutliple times and they will be the first to tell you that the difference is night and day.

What this guy in the video did is not. I am appreciative of his service, but I think his behavior on the video is shameful.

Nope. They just factor the cost of the average passenger's bags into the ticket price. The bags are "free" because you already paid for them when you bought the ticket.

It's not like because someone is a soldier, that they still can't be assholes. There are plenty of ppl in our military that act like idiots. Get dui's, commit crimes, beat their wives... They aren't all perfect.
They should all be respected by us, but that doesn't mean they don't have to respect others. Most soldiers aren't that way. But of course there are bad apples.

The military is a cross section of american culture. Just as teachers, police,lawyers, etc. There are good, there are bad.

Maybe a higher percentage than normal of Mizzou fans are meth heads, but there is a Mizzou fan down the street from me here in Ohio. Meth labs in Missouri really don't affect him too much. :D

Correlation does not prove causation, but I will DEFINITELY be sending this graph to my Mizzou fan buddies. :D

The difference being police and fireman actually have to get an education. Don't want to be deployed in a foreign country? Go to college.

Or go into sales even. Many sales positions don't require a college degree and can be lucrative.

Officers have to go to college. And most enlisted airman who want to make a high rank and retire get a degree while in the service too.

I worked with a guy who did his under grad at MIT. As soon as he graduated he signed up for four years.
