Thinking about signing up for DirecTV as my cable bill is just getting too high. Anyone happy with there DirecTV service or should I just continue paying my higher cable bill?

Yeah, I am happy with it. Let me know if you go with it and I can save you $10/month by referring you.

I have Dish and love it. I'm sure Direct is about the same.
One thing though. Check on getting local channels. Friend of mine has Direct and can't get local channels.

I have DirecTV. One of the best decisions I've ever made. If you love watching sports.....go with DirecTV.

I will never use any other television service, now that I have Direct TV. They offer way too much for the price. The only time I've been frustrated was the once or twice in the past 8 years that I've lost my signal in a bad storm. But I can't even complain about something that petty for everything else they do/have.

If you sign-up for it, make sure they throw in one of their sports packages (they'll do for free). NFL Sunday Ticket, NHL Center Ice, Full Court (NCAA), or the NBA one.

I've had it all. Cable, Dish, DirecTV. No doubt that DirecTV is above and beyond the other 2. Will never have anything else.

I've had it for a year and love it. Way better than Dish or Buckeye...

I love it. If you like hockey like I do, there's no VS. channel right now though.

We had Primestar or something along those lines (along time ago) Directv bought them out. We had horrible service with them. But have switched to Dish Network and love it

I have had it for a long time and I love it. My parents have dish and they have told me they have the worst customer service they have ever had to deal with. The installer cut their antenna cable and used it to hook up the dish without ever saying anything.

Best decision I ever made. Love the ability to set my DVR from work, or anywhere else with intereet access. I am also blown away by all of the free downloadable content. I am also a big fan of the "sports mix" channels. What a great idea.

I want DirecTV, but this is why I can't get it. My locals would come out of either Huntington WV or Charleston WV, can't remember which one.
