Took the week off in hopes of assasinating a turkey with a cross bow this week. Saw a couple hens, heard a Tom or two...

Score so far: Turkeys 1.... Thread Bomber 0

Did find a couple of shrooms.... One hell of a nice day in da woods...

I know a guy that has found 6lbs of mushrooms so far. They're sellin' for $40/lb.

I clicked on this thread, but was disappointed. Wrong shrooms for my tastes...although I probably wouldn't be turkey hunting after munching a few.

Ive prolly found 3-4lbs so far find tons of false morels this year for some reason. Finding mostly greys and blacks only two yellows so far. Found a cocks comb too which are highly prized in my part of the forest lol.

Just found 62 grays and blacks plus some others that i have to look up to see if they are edible. They are hollow with no fins so hopefully they are good ones cause they look good.

I don't know much about the mushrooms....but a girl at my work has went out with her brother everyday this week and has found 1200? I've personally witnessed her bringing in 3 WalMart bags FULL for those who want them.....I am not one of those.

have you seen any? I have seen prolly 10 or so while i was shroom hunting. I also seen another few crossing the road this morning. Only seen about three toms though all with in shooting distance though prolly 20-25 yards

Oh.. I've sen a couple toms.... I know wehre they roost, what the are thinking and what the had for dinner yesterday.

Those big feathered fuckers would have been dead two days ago, But because of a bet with my brother I can only shoot hem with a compound or a cross bow,

I am determined to kill one with a standard deer point first, But if desparate, I have two of these magnus heads that I am sure will solve ant tukey's headache..
