For what it's worth, I can get well over 12 hours on my battery if I used Wifi instead of 4G. I was at 50% while unplugged for 16 hours yesterday.

Not all of us are around a desk all day at work. I also purchased a wireless phone so I wouldn't be attached by a wire to a wall.

I am not saying that 4g isn't or won't be worth it in the future.

i have two, car and wall. never have a problem, i even spent 4 days on the road this week without a car charger and did fine by just paying attention to my use etc. plus i dont have a bunch of widgets running and i turn wifi off when i am not in an area so it isnt searching and turn gps off when i dont need it etc. i have gotten my droid to last 24 hours before just by being smart about its use.

Verizon to activate 16 new 4G LTE markets on September 15th.

The new markets include Iowa City, Bettendorf and Davenport, Iowa; Fargo, North Dakota; Moorhead, Minnesota; Lima, Cleveland, Canton, Mansfield and the Akron-Canton airport in Ohio; Rockford, Moline, Rock Island, Bloomington/Normal, Champaign/Urbana and Springfield, Illinois.

Verizon Wireless’ 4G LTE coverage will be equal to that of its 3G network by the end of 2013.

Reuters contradicts recent reports that the iPhone 5 will launch in early October, writing instead that Apple is “targeting an end-September launch for the next-generation iPhone 5.” The report restates numerous others that claim the iPhone 5 will feature a larger display, a new antenna design and an 8-megapixel camera.

Got my Bionic today.

REALLY impressed with the weight. Despite being the same size as the X2 (and slightly thicker) it is so much lighter. And the screen quality blows away every other 4G phone at Verizon.

This thing is going to fly off the shelves.

The Atrix was the last device to have Blur. The X2, Droid 3, Photon, and the Bionic do not have MotoBlur.

If you want an idea of the software look and feel on the Bionic, check the Droid 3. That is the closest to how the software on the Bionic looks.

Like I said, take a look at the Droid 3. Very similar look on the Bionic.

Is this the mobile communicator that will finally address the issue of communicating from smartphone-to-smartphone, regardless of the device (i.e., BlackBerry, iOS, Droid, etc.)?!

So can you confirm Thursday as pre orders and the 8th in stores?

Verizon is not getting the galaxy 2 but will get something similar or better in october supposidly running Ice cream sammich android 4.0. It has come down to this phone, the bionic and new iphone for me.

Can't confirm that. The date is still up in the air. The only thing concrete is that it will definitely be in September.

No keyboard. And the screen on the Bionic is definitely better than the 3 and the X2. A store associate was comparing it to his Charge, and couldn't get over how much better the Bionic screen was compared to the Charge. It's pretty crisp, and the colors are very vibrant.
