Haha...as I've stated before, I don't dislike Lebron "the athlete" because he's a freak of nature (although he's never been real clutch) and a GREAT player. It's Lebron "the person" that I take issue with. After all of the stuff about him came out of the woodwork he turned out to be a first class piece of shit.

I've read it...Sorry, you're not going to be the one that decides whether I care or do not care about a situation. I literally could give 2 shits about the Heat, Bulls, NBA in general right now (in terms of who wins). Yes, I want Lebron to lose, but it's not like I'm tuning in to watch him lose. I am tuning in because it's the ECF and I always watch the ECF and this year is no different. It's just a bonus if Lebron loses.

I wouldn't necessarily disagree with this, carte blanche. I'm sure there are plenty who hate him FOR leaving. I was "over" the fact THAT he left pretty much the moment he left. The way THAT he left, diehard/long time Cleveland fans will NEVER get over/forgive.

The Bulls are going to be a tough match up for the Heat.

I think their bigs can cause problems for the Big 3 on both ends. It was evident with Gibson and Co. dominating the boards and getting second chance opportunities.

No your wrong. Say what you want about Kevin Garnett but had lebron had as much class as Garnett did when he left Minnesota, and Garnett didn't have to agree to the trade, maybe the fans of Cleveland would have treated Lebron like this:

Post all of the stats you want (didn't open, BTW). All I remember when he was with the Cavs was a) he would settle for 20+ ft fadeaway jumpers when that wasn't his strength and b) was afraid to attack the hole (his strength) for likely fear that he'd be put at the charity stripe and might choke (embarrassing himself) on game winning/tying free throws.

These were my MAJOR beefs with the guy WHEN he was here. Now I don't know how "clutch" he's been since he's been with Miami but I have heard that on the few occasions he's had to win it he's dished to teammates to take the final shot.

Would've been louded imo. The fans of Cleveland and Ohio in general loved LeBron James for what he did to the Cavaliers.

Now, they also hate him for how he left the Cavaliers.

Lebron has made 5 game winners in his playoff history in 11 attempts. The only active player with more is Kobe, at 7, and he's attempted 23. Nobody can say Lebron is any less clutch than any other current player.

He did the same thing in Cleveland. If he makes the right basketball play and gets an open shot for a teammate, he isn't clutch?

the heat looked exhausted last night...mainly james and wade. 1 great player and about 8 really good players is tough for 2 great players, a female and some aarp's to overcome in a seven game series

Which most will tell you is the "correct play". Basically those stats show (especially when you really look into the details) that he's been the most productive player in the NBA in the "clutch" for basically his entire career. But yeah, he was afraid to attack the rim because he didn't want to embarrass himself at the line...right...

I don't suppose the fact that, especially in Cleveland, teams would force the ball out of his hands with double and triple teams and leave someone WIDE OPEN. He was clearly just scared to be embarrassed at the line, not just making the correct play and counting on teammates to do what they get paid to do.

And the notion that the final shot of the game is the only thing that defines you as clutch is insanity. Games are won and lost in the last 5 minutes when certain players can turn it up after playing 40 minutes and others can't. LeBron has been the most productive player in the league in clutch time for basically his entire career.

So does game 1's result change anyone's opinion on how the series will play out? Game 2 will probably be a better barometer, but I was leaning Heat in 6 or 7 and now leaning Bulls in 6 or 7.
