And he would be happy to come back. Not sure what the cap will be but maybe he can be got for like $13 million over 3.
I just don't know what the market will be for him and the Cavs can be patient over the next couple years.

I know this is very unlikely BUT, what would you say to this.....
Trade to get Dwight Howard?

No.
For one, it'll never happen. I don't know if Otis Smith even wants to trade Dwight...
For two, he'd be gone as soon as his contract is up.

I know, just brought it up for discussion...lol Greg Oden was brought up so I figured why not bring up Howard.
I think if the right price was offered they would deal him and not lose him in FA like we did with Lebron.....the only difference is they know he is most likely leaving. I think we could get him, but it would cost us both picks, the lebron trade exception, and probably a player on our roster, which is too much to give up for 1 guy imo.

Greg Oden is actually semi-realistic though. He could come cheap and it'd be worth the look. He's a very good center when healthy. He's proven that.

Someone is going to take a shot at him, why not the Cavs? If it pays off it could accelerate their "recovery" by YEARS. If it doesn't, it won't set them back too far because you'll find out quickly and he'll be cheap. Unless of course they draft a center, then I doubt they'll even consider it.

And he's a free agent. (possibly restricted)

Hmm I guess I didn't realize that. Surprised he went #1 and was such a bust.

He wont come cheap, bigs always get paid because there's so few. Plus he's restricted at $9.5 mil I believe and every word from Portland is that they intend to tender him at that or match someone else's offer.

Cleveland doesn't have enough to get Dwight Howard
Was watching Mike and Mike yesterday and they said they would want Bynum,Artest,a pick and another player from the Lakers
Do the Cavs have that kinda offer they can make?

Well considering Bynum sucks and is the most overrated player in the NBA, Artest is old as fuck and fucked up in the head, the Lakers' pick would be a lottttt higher than the Cavs' pick, yeah I'd say the Cavs could do a little better than that.

Bynum would be a big mistake for the Cavs, so would Howard.

I would hope that the Magic would be asking for more than that.

I think Varejao, a pick, and another player from the Cavs is 1000x that deal. Bynum sucks, Artest is old and a head case, and the pick would be in the 20's.

I'm not a Bynum fan, but he alone is almost better than anything the Cavs could offer. It's a dumb conversation anyways because I doubt either side has any interest.

The cavs have no reason to trade for a super star who's LA bound in one year

The 50 games (if lucky) he plays a yr is better than the #1 overall pick?

None of the Cavs players ever got swept in the conference semis.

Few tweets regarding the workouts
From Jason LLoyd:
ABJCavsInsider: Derrick Williams on playing for #Cavs: "Obviously I'll have to change my college number (23)."
ABJCavsInsider: Derrick Williams says he's best player in draft. He's adamant he's a 3 who can play the 4, but # of teams, including #Cavs, see him as a 4.
ABJCavsInsider: Derrick Williams says he has meeting set up w/#Cavs during combine, but won't work out here. Says he averaged 19 & 8 & has nothing to prove.

Will have more later on FOX, but put no stock in rumors of No. 2 pick to Cavs. Source: "That pick is on block, but Cavs aren't getting it."

Pacers are ones making seriously play for No. 2. Granger is being mentioned. So are Rubio and Beasley. Again, more later on FOX.

Lot of NBA teams may look to buy pick in 25-30 range for Providence SG Marshon Brooks. But starting to sound like he may not last that long.
Enes Kanter was great in the interview session. Very open, engaging. Good sense of humor. Seems like a great guy. 3 minutes ago

Derrick Williams is either extremely confident or very full of himself.
Last night he said he should be the #1 pick because he brings more star quality to the franchise, but yet a player who played 11 games has been talked about more during the year.

I agree with this.... neither team can offer shit quite frankly. Artest is done....bynums value is probably way down cuz he is braindead and their pick will be late.

Windhorst brought up an interesting question when he was on with Reghi & Roda the other day. He asked "if the Cavs offered #1 & 4, plus the trade exception (or whatever matched up) to bring back Lebron, would you do it?" Hypothetical, of course, but I think you already know my answer. That bridge burned LONG ago.
