I was just talking about the Final game. They say that the seeding is in before the game is played.

San Diego State is a legit 2 seed. They are just the weakest one.

Sagarin ratings - I doubt any two seed has been as low as Florida, or any at-large team lower than VCU - you have to scroll down to find them.

I don't know why people cry over bubble teams. Colorado isn't winning the national championship game.

It can be argued that #1-#4 of the SE bracket are the weakest at each seed. Pitt might have Duke by a touch, Flordia....maybe SD State, BYU....definately the weakest and least likely to upset a #2 or #1....unless it's Flordia, and Wisconsin

OSU's bracket is too top heavy. I just don't see what is so hard about making the top 4 fairly equal.

Exactly. Don't go 8-8 in the Big XII and lose to Harvard and San Francisco OOC and bitch about not getting in the tournament.

Kansas St 22-10 #5 seed
Missouri 23-10 #11 seed?

Texas #4 gets a killer #13 seed

No Colorado...but they beat Kansas St 3 times and had virtually the same record????????

Big 12 seedings are perplexing

The 4th #1 seed for Ohio State, which ties Michigan State for the most by a Big Ten School.

People care about bubble teams because it is how a coach/program/players are judged. You can get fired if you are the coach of a team and the NCAA Tournament is what is expected and you fail to meet those expectations after a certain amount of time. The Tournament should include the best 68 teams (in theory, you'll never get that with AQ teams). That didn't happen.

Memphis is terrible. They got 4th in their conference.

The simple answer is the tourney winners plus the top 37 that didn't win their tourney. Gets those who are hot in and those who proved to do well over the long haul I guess.

I just think they looked at VCU and said well I think they could beat whoever they matched them up against and that made the decision for them. They are not supposed to pick match-ups. It is the 68 best teams over the course of an entire season.

Has a team ever gone 12-4 in a Power Conference and NOT made the NCAA tournament...besides this year?
