TP is like many have said, a good college QB. I don't deny that, but my beef is where are all these clowns that were saying all this "NEXT GREAT QB" shit when he was in HS??? I'm not even talking about fans, i get fans who say this stuff, i'm talking about the Rivals reporters, the ESPN scouting guys, they whiffed big time and now somehow we're supposed to forget this immense folly? no way. i've never been all over TP's nuts, but now I just wish he'd fucking leave. Brought so much negativity to tOSU (the Vick shit, the uniform shit, etc.) i'm tired of drama, i just want a fucking football player.

Every big time baller you get drama. Vick thing was the only thing that I didn't care that he did.
Not sure how they whiffed either. He will leave Ohio St as tops in nearly all offensive categories. What more do you want? Craig Krenzel is a molecular biology major who sells Hondas...

I thought Troy Smith was better the Pryor and I think Pryor is a good college QB as far as OSU would only lose 2 games with anyone at qb do you remember when Steve Belisar?i was our QB.

I agree, people throw around the word "hater" a lot but T.P. does seem to have an abundance of them. The guy came in with some unreal expectations, he was not a 4 time hiesman winner but after his career is over he will leave as a damn fine QB.

Even Ty understands this. OP must have had a frontal lobatomy.
bo shemmy3337;705306 wrote:Even though this is not all his fault, I still do not see why some OSU fans are so high on him. Sure he beats Michigan but I think any average QB would have beat them the past 3 years. Michigan has been bad all 3 years TP has been there IMO so big deal? MSU's QB's have also beat UM 3 times now and they are thought of as great QB's.
bo shemmy3337;705322 wrote:I disagree. OSU has a great team year in and year out and they would have gotten another good QB in the 3 years he was there. Also my comment was more toward beating Michigan and I really do not see how that is such a big accomplishment seeing as they have been sub 500 in the time he has been at OSU.
No one said beating Michigan was a big accomplishment, except for you, on this thread.
bo shemmy3337;705348 wrote:Yes passing has a lot to do with the great WR's he has and yes he is a good runner but the team would not be bad off if he never went to OSU IMO.
Great WR's? LMFAO, you're serious? Which one of his "great" wr's will be a top draft pick? Clueless.....
thedynasty1998;705352 wrote:I tend to side with bo schemmy on the Pryor argument. OSU loses a max of 2 games last year with anyone at QB. They are just so superior across the board of other Big 10 teams that an average QB would have a great career record.
They lose more than 2 IMO. They lose to Iowa (Pryor saved the Bucks that game) and possibly Illinois (Bauserman couldn't do shit that game). They don't get into a BCS bowl without Pryor, so Pryor does a lot for the team. The difference between losing 1 game and losing 2-3 games is huge.
bo shemmy3337;705361 wrote:Your going off of the current team who has no backup, if he never came OSU would have got another stud and would have been just fine. It is not like OSu entire future was riding on his choice to come to OSU. It is not like Lebron leaving Cleveland.
bo shemmy3337;705368 wrote:It doesn't have to be a QB AJ hawk was the man for years, someone would have stepped up and they would have been the star of the team but either way they would still be winners IMO.
What do these 2 posts even mean? It doesn't matter "if" they would have got another stud QB, Pryor is the one that lead them and the one that got the W's.

You guys should thank god every day that Pryor walks on campus because we all know that OSU was just a second rate team at best before he arrived. All the other great players that have played in the shoe must be thankful that finally someone has come along and put their school on the map.He is just a thug that thinks he is still untouchable because you all kiss his ass and bow down to him.He will be lucky to be a 2nd round pick next year if he makes it out of this investigation without more charges.

I have no problem with selling your own stuff and I have stated that from the beginning when it was announced, it is just morally wrong to sell those things but not against the law but the NCAA does have a problem and rules against it and he knew that before he did it.he thought he was the greatest kid to ever play football when he was in high school and played everyone when it was time to announce his college choice because he was waiting for the best offer. The kid has been nothing but trouble for OSU and lets not forget about the multiple test drives he takes when ever he was pulled over in a nice new car.He needed to sellhis stuff just so he could eat and survive in college, How the hell could he even think of buying a new car. He acts like a immature little brat when things don't go his way and has no regard for authority.Maybe Mr.Vick can take him under his wing and teach him about dog fighting.
If he had any class at all he would not have even thought of selling his stuff but that just shows you what he thinks of OSU.

The only thing he is guilty of is being the stereotypical star athlete that thinks he is invincible, and is also stupid as hell.

He sold his stuff because either he figured he, the star player, can get away with anything, or because he is a retard and didn't know better than to wait until after he graduates/declares instead of breaking the most obvious NCAA rule in the book (or both).

Stuff like thug is a little strong, but he has lived up to the terms pompous ass and dumbass. It's hard to deny that.
