Does anyone else find her announcing style to be extremely annoying?I am to the point that I turn the volume off when she is on the mike.

I don't care for many women announcers she is one of them.
One lady on ESPN does an ok job can't remember her name.

Can't stand her. I swear, I thought she was having an orgasm at the announcing table during the UCONN - DePaul game over Kemba Walker and his smiles.

Pam Ward and Beth Mowins make me want to shoot myself.

That said, I am in complete agreement about Doris Burke. Don't care for her at all.

I can deal with her because I think she doesn't try to be anything else other than what she is. It doesn't look like she puts on a front. Other women announcers have the tendency to prove themselves too much, go outside their character, and try to analyse things like a man. I don't see that in Burke.

Pam Ward doing football is a disgrace. Doris Burke actually isn't terrible. Knowledgable and, as stated before, doesn't try too hard. I can handle her. Obviously she's no Bilas, Raferty, Kellogg, Knight, Bonner, or Elmore in terms of color commentary, but she's alright.

I agree that she doesn't try and be something she's not and that she is knowledgeable, however, who she is as an announcer is the problem. It's like when you meet someone and their personality rubs you the wring way and you dislike them for no apparent reason. That's Doris Burke. There's no specific reason why I dislike her, I just do. I simply find her style to be almost unlistenable at times.

Her segway to the last commercial break of the Pitt - UConn game almost made me reach for mute. I don't mind her commentary, but I hate her voice.

Doris ain't bad looking. The fact that she's probably been with another woman is intriguing. The glasses work for her.
