An announcer should be judged on their ability and not on their gender. I am sure there really are people out there that think Doris Burke (or another female) is not good at her job. But I am certain there are also others that dislike her announcing games because she is a woman and they base their opinion of her on that. Wildcats, I disagree with you that MOST men are ok with a woman calling a men's basketball, football or baseball game. I don't have any statistical data in front of me, but there are constantly threads posted on this board and others out there with men being dissatisfied about women calling football and basketball games.
