I just read that this weeks episode drew 3.6 million viewers. To put that in perspective, the season finale of "The Hills" drew 1.72 million viewers according to the same article. I read (and found funny) that Kristen Cavallari of The Hills said she was jealous of the success and popularity of The Jersey Shore show, and also that she wants some of The Situation.
MTV is apparently trying to figure out how they are going to bring back the show now that the cast is all famous. It would seem there is no way they could do another show on the shore, but I am not sure where they could put them that would give it that same flavor. With those kinds of ratings though they will do whatever they have to to get the show back on the air for another season.
