I couldn't choose between the two. I've seen maybe only about half of the Curb episodes, and HBO has such irregular runs and schedules that it sometimes makes it hard to stay into a show. Ultimately I think I have to give the edge to Seinfeld because you had 4 major characters, along with several major role players and a slew of minor players, with their quirks and shortcomings. Curb is mostly just Larry David, and while great it's somewhat limited in perspective and how it can approach topics.
This. Frankly, if it weren't for Kramer, George, Estelle and Frank, Newman, et al, Seinfeld probably would not have last more than a season or two on NBC.
