The whole "killing endless waves of zombies" genre kinda needs to piss off. It's just not fun.
Resident Evil type zombie games are great....Left 4 Dead type zombie games however are terrible

At least Resident Evil has a plot. If you have stuck with it, even through the crappy games they have thrown out there. (AKA the rail shooters) at least the storyline is consistent, the characters are, in ebb in flow with the time frame of the games. (Because Resident evil games jump all over the damn place)
The trailer got me curious. I'll see what the experts say when they play it and decide then. I hate to say it but G4 is usually dead on with most of their reviews in my opinion. Sometimes even a little harsh.

If you are a fan of video games, do you like this trend? If you do not like video games, could you see this trend (applied to other genres, instead of zombies) leading to a wider acceptance of video games as art?
That was pretty awesome. The graphics were amazingly real, and the trailer was so fantastic, that I might actually go out and buy this -- and I never would have been the type to purchase a game like this.
I love how far (and fast) the video game industry has been evolving. It's simply unreal.
