There for a while McCarver was cracking jokes and making references that weren't even close to being funny. They were just really really awkward. Painful to listen to.

The Braves' Julio Teheran is making his major league debut tonight against Philadelphia. Teheran is the Braves' top prospect and #5 prospect in all of baseball and so far is 3-0 with a 1.80 ERA in 5 starts in AAA.

Last outing Verlander was on pitch #110 in the 5th inning and threw it 100 mph. This guy throws upper 90's and has high pitch counts and innings...and has since he was a young major leaguer. When is his arm going to give out? Was he ever babied?

Well the Phillies strike back shutting out the Braves 3-0 after being shutout last night. Kyle Kendrick made a spot start with Oswalt going on the DL, he pitched a strong 5 innings allowing 2 hits. Howard is now 2nd all time on the Phillies HR list with 260 as he crushed a ball into the bullpen.

Braves take game 3 and take 2 of 3 from the Phillies at the Bank. Philly still has a 2 game lead on the Marlins and a 4 game lead on the Braves.

Braves got absolutely fucked in that game last night...I was reallllyyyy drunk when I saw the highlights, but it definitely looked like strike 3 to end the game on, I believe, Howard. But he didn't get the call, then the Phillies went on to win. Sucks for lotz.

Nah it wasn't to end the game. Howard should have struck out in the first inning, next pitch was right down the middle and Howard hit it 900 feet to center for a 3 run bomb. The real bad one came much later in the game on fucking Victorino of all people. Literally a perfect pitch for strike 3 was called a ball, McCann caught it and instantly started running toward the dugout. Next pitch was lined into center and scored the tying run after the Braves had just taken the lead. Rookie umpire was behind the plate and he often had the old deer in the headlights look. Still shouldn't have been a game, Braves left 10 men on base, NINE of them in scoring position. They were horrible last night getting guys in, after they have been leading the league in that category all year.

Yeah I just remember seeing strike 3 and everyone heading to the dugout and the ump was just like uhh I didn't call strike 3, and everyone (including the Phillies batter) was like what? lol
