Francona will be managing a team in the next 2 years.

Most likely Chicago

I would think Francona will be the favorite this year, although Francona talked about Boston being a tough town to coach in. I'm not sure how that translates to a city like Chicago, and whether that would be pressure cooker situation. Regardless, I think he'd have to be the front runner.

Former Brave, current (?) Astro Jordan Schafer was arrested on a felony charge of possession of marijuana. Apparently he was at or leaving the Cheesecake Factory and had a joint in his hand in the car when the cops came up to the window. He had around 25 grams with him and a Braves beat writer said he had 3 "marijuana laced peanut butter cups."

Yah that's the word. Phillies starting to look like the Braves dominate regular season then piss down their legs in the playoffs.

Frank McCourt gets the L.A. Dodgers in the divorce. Some stuff still in limbo regarding the team.

Pretty impressive the Phillies have gone down in order from Winning a WS, losing the WS, losing in the NLCS, and now losing in the NLDS. Has a team ever done this before? We will see the Phillies lose the division next year, and then the following year not even win the wild card?!?!?

Braves are apparently going to listen to trade requests for Jurrjens and Prado. KC was supposed to be an option for JJ.

Craig Kimbrel is the unanimous NL Rookie of the Year, first time since Pujols in 2001. Freddie Freeman finished 2nd giving the Braves the first teammates since the Cubs in 1989 to finish 1-2 in balloting.

Jeremy Hellickson of Tampa Bay won the AL award.

Congrats to him....amazing season.

Michael Young left off of 4 Top 10 Ballots....Verlander wasn't on one of them. Someone put Ellsbury 10th?.....very simply put, each of those voters should Lose their voting privilege.

Yes he did.

Side note, still not sure how Verlander is MVP. If he won, Kershaw should also have won. No one was even mentioning it though. He wasnt even in the top 10!!!
