Yeah. Wasn't that why the previous manager got canned last year? Because he had the AUDACITY to actually attempt to discipline Hanley? Jeff Loria doesn't like that!

Then don't be a fucking complete prick. Oh by the way Cole was the 3rd fastest to 1000 strikeouts among active pitchers.

If Hudson and Hamels each pitch another 10 years and they combine their strikeouts.....they will be getting close to Nolan Ryan.

Soto's reaction was the funniest part of that melee......We all knew Ozzie would go ape shit, then when he kicked Soto's mask he just turned a looked at his teammates like one of his fat drunk friends just did belly smacker off the high dive or something. I watched it about 7 times.

Who cares about that? Hamels can't hit his way out of a paper bag, while Huddy now has 2 career HRs. End of discussion.

Kind of along the lines of your completely random ramblings of pitchers hitting. Clayton Kershaw (along with mowing fools down on the mound) is having himself a year at the plate.

10/34, .294 average, .333 OBP, 6 runs, 3 RBI, 1 BB, only 4 Ks.

^^^^^^ I thought those were Dan Uggla's stats until I saw the average and the K total is ridiculous.

Take away the Ks and you might have Dunners and UGGLAS combined stats. That would be a runaway MVP if they were one person. Adan Dungla.

This year, the fact the word "dung" is part of that last name is very appropriate.

I figured the Red Sox were having a good month (they have like 132 runs scored) so I decided to look up the record for most runs in a month. The record for the AL is 275 by the Yankees in August of 1938. YIKES. Time to wake the bats up boys.

Not that it really lessens the ridiculousness of it, but I looked it up out of curiosity and (according to Baseball-Reference) they played 36 games that month. A lot of doubleheader days.

Still an average of 7.6 runs per game.

Jeez, 36 in a month? And we thought they'd played too much nowadays. I guess the Red Sox have averaged 7.76 runs per game in June so it's pretty impressive as well.
