It's people like Hb who say "well I've never seen anything so..." that refuse to believe there is a problem.

Yes.

There you go again with the "I haven't seen it, so it's fine" attitude.

If 50 fucking person brawls are common, its not exactly somethign easy to miss if you frequent the mall.

Its all a cover up though right? take off the foil helmet

I'm not so sure how reality is a "foil helmet". I think you are the one who needs to take off the rose colored glasses and realize that there is not just a problem at Easton, but this city overall. The things just happen at Easton are just a microcasm of the crime problems in Columbus.

Listen, My office is at Easton, I live close to Easton, I hear it and see it all the time.

I think you are exaggerating the 50 person brawls.

Nope. First one I saw was in front of the old McDonalds by the Movie Theater, 2nd was right in front of the movie theater, and the last one I saw was by the fountains by Brio.

Just using my examples. On the local forum I am on there are tons more stories of them.

That is a round estimate. Defnitely way way more than just 20 people or so.

I didn't mean giant brawls every weekend, but there are most definitely assaults there every weekend. Just read the police reports. Usually an assault and robbery late after the last movies let out

Okay, I thought that was your argument...For the most part though, you go to easton you won't have any issues if you keep to yourself. You are calling it ghetto because of the many, many, many black people that go their late night or the ONE fight per week that happens their. I don't think that is fair

I think it's fair because I see it heading down the same road that Northland did. And me calling it ghetto has nothing to do with the color of people's skin. It has everything to do with the crime.

uhhh.... 1 crime per week? No. Tons of thefts, disorderly's, etc. Check the police reports out yourself.

Maybe living in Cincinnati the past 4 years has changed my perception of what's ghetto.

my ex wife works at nordstrom...we lived at easton across the street from chipotle/Fado for 4 years i have spent as much time at easton at night as anyone and to say that their are commonly 50 person brawls is laffable....maybe 3-4 kids fighting and 20 watching is more accurate. however the stories i hear the kids talk about the last couple years in schools (i most recently taught at mifflin HS, Indianola middle and champion middle) does indicate more needs to be done to provide supervision. but seriously we are talking about jr high kids, it shouldnt be too hard to fix the problem

Let's call it the "high end ghetto", lol.

Like I said earlier though, it's really the ghetto that comes to Easton. If they did away with the Cota busing, there wouldn't be nearly as many problems.
