I'm in the minority but I kind of like Corona. It's not my favorite beer and it wouldn't be my first choice but I will drink it occassionally. I do like it better with lime.

Heavy Seas Loose Cannon IPA and Conways Irish Ale last night as well as several of our homebrew chocolate stouts.
Drank way too much.

I understand it when eating Mexican food or whatever but for that I'd much rather have Dos Equis Amber with lime. It's actually really nice that way.bigdaddy2003;1069160 wrote:I'm in the minority but I kind of like Corona. Had a couple of Star Hill Northern Light drafts with lunch today. They were awesome, I'd get them again for sure.

Had a GL Edmund Fitz, on tap, with my dinner yesterday. It was better than in the bottle which I've only had in the past. When we were about done with dinner I watched the other waitress break out a bottle at the other end of the bar...Hopslam. So for desert the wife and I had 2 1/2 Hopslams each. I know the owner and the night we found Hopslam, this year, we gave a Sixer of it to him. I never thought I'd be buying part of it back at over a 100% markup...lol. No choice as the store is still out of it and The Wife finished off our supply a few days ago. Actually, He had three bottles left when we were done, so he was able to get some from the Distributor and I wasn't buying my own beer back. She thought about buying those to take home with us, as they have a carry out license, but we didn't.

Running some errands yesterday after work and walked by a pub during HH. Decided to stop in for a pint. Saw that they had Racer 5 on tap and went with that. I believe a poster in here was talking about going to their brewery or something and gave it a good reccomendation. It was pretty good I thought. Seemed to be less bitter for an IPA which I enjoyed. I'd get it again.

I've only had their Racer 5, Hop Rod Rye, and Red Rocket. I enjoyed them all.Commander of Awesome;1073278 wrote:Running some errands yesterday after work and walked by a pub during HH. Had a 90 minute on tap Tuesday. Good stuff lots of depth and suprisingly high drinkability, buzzed off one. Which led to 2 skunked Amstel lights that had beed in the fridge for 2 months when I got home. Bad bad bad, but I still drank them both.

Had a bit of a blow off with the double IPA today but I got it under control so no harm was done. I should have made sure to rig a blow off tube knowing the OG was so high and that I double pitched yeast. This beer is going to be excellent.

Cannot fucking sleep so I'm drinking a couple 21st Amendment Brew Free or Die IPAs hoping it will help. Now realize I probably should have drank the Double Bastard sitting in my fridge, that would put me out for sure.

Double Bastard is the equivalent of a bottle of Ambien.

Well it's Cincinnati Beer Week. If you are in the area maybe you should check out some of the happenings. http://cincinnatibeerweek.com
We will be heading to Jungle Jim's for the Collaboration Barleywine Tasting.
Too bad Miller isn't participating in any of the events, as they have a huge brewery north of Cincy in Trenton. (sarcasm font)
