Picked up some Speedway Stout, Enjoy By, and some Hoppin' Frog Natasha Rocks American, a chocolate rye imperial Stout. It's a collaboration beer that I've never tried or seen. Anyone ever try it?

Now back to my glass of Red's Rye.

Nice haul; the Hoppin Frog beer looks interesting, haven't seen it yet. Crazy thing is I've never had Red's Rye. Heard good things, and I love Founders, but for some reason I've passed this beer over for years. I'm going to make it a beer goal to drink it soon!
Tonight I'm working on a 4 pack of Hoptimum.

Red's Rye in my rotation of IPAs that I go through. A couple others are Two Hearted and Brooklyn's. Red's is a solid everyday Founder's beer...which they are known for. Go for it.
Just busted open the Enjoy By.

Had a Beer Hop Breakfast American Stout by Mikkeller last night at the new Lizardville in Fairlawn. Holy shit was it fantastic!
As an aside, that place has cigars, good Scotch, and an EXCELLENT selection of craft brew. I can see many dollars of mine being spent there in the near future.

Bar near work has Hoptinum on tap along with Black Xantus. Fighting the urge to go down a few before heading home.

Do you actually have a good reason not to go? (even if you did I'd still go)Commander of Awesome;1438039 wrote:REPS!

Today was National Home Brewers Day. We went locally to Rivertown Brewing. Lots of home brewers brewing beer out back of the brewery. Got some pics of The Wife with different brewers.

Randy, Owner of Rivertown asking should n't we have a beer for the picture?

Ahh beer. Fixed!!!

Tom, GM and brewer at Rivertown.

Jason, brewer at Triple Digit Brewing which is another local brewery. He stopped by with a bottle of their Sour offering called Julia. Awesome beer. Shared it with many people. It was cool seeing breweries being friends. They aren't competition, they are comrades. Because Fuck InBev is the enemy!!!

I like this beer. About the only beer I'll drink from this brewery. Their products used to be my 'go to' beers years ago. They moved and the flavor changed in their beer. Water source maybe?
I had this first back in 2005 when it was in 12oz bottles. Then it went to bombers. Now I believe you can get both ways.

Oh and the Beer Guy set me up today with some stuff from the back room. Another Doom, another KBS, and a Rabid Rabbit from 3Floyds. Never had the Rabbit. It's a Saison so I'm kinda scared.
Then I bought a Lambic and 2 Sour Cherry Porters at Rivertown Brewery.

What store do you buy your stuff from. You seem to get a lot of a lot of good shit. Pretty sure I'm nowhere near you, but might consider making a long drive to score some good beer.Curly J;1438443 wrote:Oh and the Beer Guy set me up today with some stuff from the back room. Not sure. They keep some of the special beers in a different room. Pretty much like asking them if they have something if it's not on the shelf or if you know it's a limited release.O-Trap;1438558 wrote:Please tell me he has moar. I might be down that way in the coming weeks.
Jungle Jim's in Fairfield. Just happen to run into the manager and he asked if we had the Rabid Rabbit. Told him we hadn't seen it. He went to get one and brought back some Dune and KBS. We told him we already had/tried them. He had us take them anyway. They are getting ready to install a 16 tap system for growlers.BORIStheCrusher;1438585 wrote:What store do you buy your stuff from.
