Finally got the wife to experiment a little with her beer choices saturday. She fell in love with 3F's Gumballhead, I couldn't believe it. Then she made me stop to beer shop and she bought Founders Cerise. She isn't quite Curly J's wife yet but she's trying!!!

Yeah my wife isn't much of a beer geek but she buys this every year it's out.vdubb96;1408215 wrote: Then she made me stop to beer shop and she bought Founders Cerise.
Was at the in-laws yesterday and my brother in law hooked me up with some Short's as usual since he lives in Michigan. Had Goodnight Bodacious, an Imperial Black IPA that was pretty awesome.

Went on an Ohio hop tour over the weekend, had a couple different types of Fat Head, some Great Lakes Alchemy Hour, a growler of Irish Red from Buckeye Lake and some Columbus Pale Ale which was damn good.

Got a tasting group tonight, bringing Sweet 16 (Non Ohio Version).
Think the Ohio version isn't 16%

Sharing the Brasserie Cantillon Classic Gueuze tonight. It's in celebration of The Wife having her end of quarter review and was 5 for 5 on her rating, which they said was impossible. Her boss has never seen someone do that before and emailed all her associates and management to tell them it could be done and has happened finally.
This has been in the fridge for about a year. Nice sour with more sweet coming through than I expected. Funky nose with a little salt at the finish. Gotta find this special beer again as I was saving this for a special occasion like today.
Got a couple of Enjoy by 4/1 in the bull pen chilling. Her choice for tonight.
EDIT: the cork said bottled in 2011.

Bomber of Victory V Twelve. Drinking it straight from the bottle. It's been that kind of night.

Anybody had Weasel Boy Brewing out of Zanesville? I've heard some positive things about it.
Here's their brew list.

Rivertown Old Sour Cherry Porter. Nice sour. Not much like a porter, but I'm loving it. Just a hint of chocolate. Maybe from the Bourbon Barrel ageing. It says that this can age to 5 years. I might be just the guy to try that...if I can find more. I bought the last 3 they had on the shelf at Jungle Jim's.
