No...maybe we should all step aside and reflect that not all craft beer is good. He called Deschutes out and maybe they deserved it.O-Trap;1414094 wrote:I want to punch that guy in the face, but I have no idea why. Anyone else feel that way?

I was speaking to his personality. He could be right about the beer, and I would never say all craft beer is good (some of it is disgusting), but he just comes off like an 11 on the asshat-o-meter.Mohican00;1415194 wrote:No...maybe we should all step aside and reflect that not all craft beer is good. Researchers at Granada University in Spain have found that beer can help the body rehydrate better after a workout than water or Gatorade.
Professor Manuel Garzon also claimed the carbonation in beer helps to quench the thirst and that its carbohydrate content can help replace lost calories, The Telegraph reports.

Been fighting off a cold so haven't had a beer since Friday (my wife said I'm probably not going to get better again until I get some beer in me), said screw it and pulled a Chimay Blue off the shelf and finishing it off now.

My Doctor always told me to push the liquids. Started drinking Craft Beers in 2005 and have never been sick since...hungover is a different story.

Had my first Yeti and Oak Aged Yeti last night. We were all very dissapoint. Strong bad bitter burnt coffee after taste. One of the guys declined after a couple of sips to even finish.

Interesting. I almost picked up a bottle last week since I haven't had it in a few years, I remember liking it (especially the chocolate and espresso yeti) quite a bit.Commander of Awesome;1415745 wrote:Had my first Yeti and Oak Aged Yeti last night. glad I'm not the only one. I said it was thin as well, though no one else agreed with me.Curly J;1415809 wrote:I had the Expresso Oak Aged Yeti. Thin, weak finish, dissapoint, wanted more from it.

Really digging the Left Hand Milk Stout Nitro bottles right now. Such a smooth drinking stout. Really want to get some Founders Breakfast stout soon.

Bought one of these yesterday. Also grabbed a Stone Old Guardian Oak Smoked. I don't think they will last through the weekend.

Yeah, that's where I like to shop most of the time. Although a liquor store literally across the street from me renovated into a craft beer/wine shop with a pretty good selection and also put in a fill station with about 6 different beers on tap which they rotate pretty often, so it's been hard for me to go anywhere else lately because it's so convenient.Sonofanump;1416231 wrote:Very impressive selection...

Had GOT beer on tap last weekend. Nothing special IMO, but cool to pick it up and try. Its really just a basic Belgian blonde ale.Curly J;1416369 wrote:Bought one of these yesterday. Also grabbed a Stone Old Guardian Oak Smoked. I don't think they will last through the weekend.

Reunion started the night for me tonight, a collab between He'Brew and Terrapin followed by a Brown Shugga. Aging really nicely over the past 5 months, glad I got a few more in the stash.

Haven't had a beer at all this weekend...yet. I'm not feeling so good so I've been on an Alka Seltzer diet. Although the Oompa Loompa is sounding good.

Had it tonight. I'm no beer connoisseur, but to me it was just OK. I'll take a Left Hand or a Southern Tier 2Xstout over it.Curly J;1417331 wrote:Although the Oompa Loompa is sounding good.

I gave in and having one now. I really like it. Very creamy on the palate. Nice chocolate on the nose.

Maybe there was a bad batch that Mulva got, because this sounds nice. Good density? Density has always been my biggest issue with stouts. Needs to be a little thick.Curly J;1417354 wrote:I gave in and having one now. I really like it. Very creamy on the palate. Nice chocolate on the nose.

I thought it was decent. Nice mouth feel. Hard to believe it's on only 6.5 ABV for the flavor you get from it.O-Trap;1417360 wrote:Maybe there was a bad batch that Mulva got, because this sounds nice. Good density? Density has always been my biggest issue with stouts. Needs to be a little thick.
