It's corkable to an extent. I'd say that if you're going to cork it, you better finish it the next day because it's going to lose a lot of carbonation. I think if you're planning on corking frequently, you should probably invest in a cork that is designed for champagne since those are meant to keep the carbonation in.Raw Dawgin' it;1315275 wrote:Is a high alcohol content beer corkable? Will it be good the next day too or is it different than wine in the sense that, once you open a beer you have to finish it that same day.
My personal rule, though, is that if I open a beer, I'm finishing it.

Did not agree. Didn't like it near as much. Tasted too much honey or something.I Wear Pants;1310144 wrote:Thirsty Dog's Christmas ale is arguably better than GL.

Picked these up tonight. Great Lakes was behind counter, and I feel way overpriced, unmarked. Had to be $12-$13 for a sixer? Threw Coors Light in for added affect!

Headed here on Saturday, can't wait: http://beerhoptacular.com/breweries.php
Probably most looking forward to hitting up Uinta and a lot of the smaller Illinois ones I haven't tried yet.

See, I taste way too much spice and nutmeg in the GL version, and it's been watered down substantially as well. I still drink it, but I don't seek it out like I used to.iclfan2;1315357 wrote:Did not agree. Didn't like it near as much. Tasted too much honey or something.

Any beer you are supposed to put fruit in != a beer.

I don't hate it either, but it's not a beer. It's like a slightly manlier wine cooler.Commander of Awesome;1315486 wrote:I dont hate blue moon, but to call it a craft beer is just LOL.

Finishing up the last of the O'Fallon Pumpkin in the fridge tonight.
Then it's off to the store tomorrow to pick up some Christmas Ale.

Sierra Nevada celebration is now outta stores. I've always liked the stuff. Blackout stout from glbc is now out, at least on keg at the brewpub.
