Looks particularly carbonated. Is that the case?

Like your label. Once I'm more consistent with my batches I'll get some made for my beers. Best one I've done was intended to be a DIPA but turned out like a replica of Great Lakes Nosferatu.

No it isn't all too carbonated. Photo does make it look that way though.

As for Boris... I certainly wouldn't be upset if I accidentally made Nosferatu.

Somehow, I kinda figured this was the case, but I thought I'd ask to be sure. I can't imagine a dark brew like that being anything but weird if it was carbonated.

Had a couple of Troegs HopBack last night - not my favorite kind of beer but it was left by some friends from our BBQ Saturday. I think anyone who likes IPAs would like it.

It was a nice gesture, thanks honey but dont ever buy me that shit again.
The taste of Rogue Bacon Maple beer is like the bitter-sweet optimism of a kid with terminal leukemia. It doesn't matter how much you hope, that shit isn't going to get better.

I just had a Commodore Perry.
Will not be having any more of that. I know IPA's are bitter, but holy fuck.

I take it you don't like IPAs? Because I don't find Commodore Perry to be particularly bitter for the style.

Agreed. It's not weak, but I'd only put it at about the middle of the road.

Headed to Epcot on Thursday, was planning on doing the beers of the world tour until I saw a 22 ounce beer is $11.25. Might just hang out in the German Village area for a couple of beers.

Unless someone has another suggestion...

Went to epcot a few months back and dropped like 400 bucks, after tickets it was all beer, wine, and food!

No clue, Ringz. My guess is regardless you're going to pay out the ass for the beer.

The challenge is my wife wants to go to Epcot, I want to stay at the sales conference I am attending and drink at the party complete with an open bar for free that afternoon. I am torn.

Sure, how do you think this conversation ends?...."Honey why don't you go to one of the world's largest tourist destinations by yourself so I can stay at the resort and get shitfaced on the company's dime?"

I'll tell you how that would end, I will be calling my attorney from Orlando.

More like this:

"I'm staying here to relax and maybe have a few drinks. You are more than welcome to stay with me, but I'm okay with you going to Epcot as well, if you'd rather."

NOTE: "Relax and have a few drinks" sounds far more reasonable in the discussion than "get shitfaced," so I'd make at least that change.

Perhaps I'm just being stubborn by saying he should do what he wishes to do, but my wife seems to dig my bullheadedness, so I guess that makes her a happy wife.

My wife knows what I would really mean with a statement like that.

Meh I will be abandoning her in the mornings for meetings, etc. I want her to have fun too so I will concede and do what she wants.
