Well they no longer have the Sixpoint on tap. I'll have to see what they have at the Jungle. So far just a Rivertown Hop Bomber. They do have the Lake Erie Monster on tap. That will be my desert. Maybe even a couple of them.

I should be doing this. I'd like to get an inventory of what all I have in my stashes. Maybe I'll do that tonight...while drinking.

Drinking the Old Numbskull now, this thing is a beast. Tons of hops, caramel, malt and booze in this; pretty good Barleywine. I have a feeling I'm going to have a buzz after this one bottle.

I love that beer. Probably my favorite Barleywine.

The Lake Erie Monster bit me. I should know not to go to The Jungle with a buzz and shop for beer. I left that place lighter to the amount of about a Buck Eighty for my beer purchase. I was able to grab the last 2 KBS they had on hand.

Can you call it beer pong if you are playing with Strongbow?

What did you brew? My last batch was a DIPA about 6mo ago that turned out kind of shitty; need get a new one going. BTW those labels are pretty sweet.

Our last batch was also a DIPA but it was fantastic.

This latest batch is our attempt at a slightly hoppier clone of DFH India Brown Ale, I think we've mailed it just knowing how brew day went and color/smell but we'll see, fingers crossed. It should end up at like 7.7 ABV.

Picked up a bomber of stone cali-belgique ipa and finally found Green Flash palette wrecker. Opened up the Stone tonight, saving the Green Flash for another night.

First taste of the stone cali-belgique ipa...just re establishes why Stone is the GOAT brewery IMO (with Green Flash being in consideration for top 3). Its simply awesome. I drank a bunch of Founders Centineial IPAs this weekend, and this is far different. Way smoother, less bitter etc.. Overall a vastly different IPA with a different experience. Wish this came in 6ers, bc this could easily be a session beer for me. Anyone else try it?

Keep your eyes out for the Stone Ruination Tenth Anniversary IPA after June 10th.
It’s an amped-up version of Stone Ruination IPA, with a bit more malt to bring the abv up from 7.7% to 10.8%, and a very heavy dose of hops. “Classic” Ruination uses 2.5 pounds of hops per barrel–which is more than double the amount we use in any other of our core beers–but for Stone Ruination Tenth Anniversary IPA, we went double again, using an impressive 5 pounds of hops per barrel, including about a pound each of Citra and Centennial in the dry hop. (Hell. Yes.)

After having a few more sips of the stone cali-belgique ipa, hints of a lot of fruit, def some apple in there. Not as great as I initially thought. Still a good beer and worth checking out.

Also a bomber of GF PW was $10, while a 4 pack was $11. Why would anyone buy a bomber at that price compared to the 4 pack?

Yea, I've had it and like it very much. It's quite a different style of IPA as that Belgium yeast gives it more of a fruity flavor it seems.
