same kid who has only won 18 games the past two years on the jv level running the same offense thats all! i know its the jv level but still he can sling it around heck anyone could sling it around with the WR they have coming back

QB coming is pretty good but no-where near what Wallace brought to the table. Losing Jon Maibach will hurt a bit but I think Harris will continue to get better. Having Jon Zimmerly back could be the difference as I believe if healthy, he will be MVP of the league next year and possibly POY in Wayne County. Don't know the replacement, but the biggest thing Wallace did was extend plays. That will be missed next season, plus Norwayne may be working with a new staff and/or system next season.

Beast, sorry, I agree the thread should be dead. However, I think you will admit what I am about to post.
Rumor in Smithville today. Actually, not really a rumor, is that Keith Schrock will be out as head coach next year for Smithville. Not on his own terms. If this is actually true, I would like to thank Coach Schrock. There will definiteley be more to come when I get more information.

This is sickening. Every fan or player who has cheered or played since 1977 ought to be furious about this.
Though I would never partake, I hope the school ends up overwhelmed by the backlash, and I can think of at least one large donor who I bet will pull his funding after this.

On a serious note, such an incredible shame for a legendary coach to be forced out of his alma mater. Not only being forced out, but especially after such a great season. I know many kids who played for Schrock, and they all say the same thing... "Loved him! Great teacher and a great coach... taught more about the game of life through football than many learn at home."
Thank you for your many years of service to teaching young men, Mr. Schrock. Know that you have the support of many, not just the green and white.
