Did you really mean to say "offical"? If so, I think it is an appropriate term to describe your self-appointed reign.

Also, don't forget: "i before e, except after c".

Your's truly - BRF
I will keep your suggestions in mind. Thank you.

Since I'm still protesting the unethical "Commish" voting ceremony....i will refrain from addressin anyone by that title.

I do think the 50/50 needs looked at....with the exception of week 10 at Waynedale....the other 50/50's were "fixed"

Dear Mr. Commissioner,

I would like to be the first to congratulate you on a outstanding job! Having only been in charge a very short time, you have already taken the WCAL to the State Finals. Under your outstanding leadership I believe we will see continued success and the WCAL's first State Title!

Sincerely,
Go Falcons

PS. under your plan to make the WCAL a better place would you please provide 1_beast with mouthwash.

Thank you for your kind words, it has been an amazing journey since taking over the office of commissioner. I want to assure every one that success like this will become an annual tradition around these parts.

Thank you Norwayne for representing our league.

What fun last night! Wayne County fans from all over (Hillsdale, Waynedale, & non-WCAL Triway) to support the Bobcats in their ride to the state championship game. Congrats to the Bobcats on a big win. Now, one more!

Congats Norwayne, I was blown away when I heard the score announced over the PA in Mansfield. The Cats really must have been growling last night.

Saw a great game last night, Iggy won 17-6. As always the Wildcats were the picture of discipline and team play. Toledo Whimer might be the most physically talented team I have ever seen, they had incredible size and speed. Several Whitmer kids will be playing D1 next year.
I can't say enough about the high caliber of football played last night. St.Iggy/ Pickerington should be a really exciting game next Saturday night.

Tailgating was "no holds barred" in the 2 stadium parking lots, lots of RVs, food, beer, whiskey and the cops were OK with it. I will admit all the giant campers did complicate parking somewhat but what a good time. I also realize Bloody doesn't hate St. Iggys, he hates to miss partying with them. I also fear Miyagi is now addicted to what some Wildcat fans called "pregame--Iggy style".
The interesting thing was that none of the fun & generous folks we hung out with were parents or relatives of Iggy players....all just fans.

Judging by their absense, I'm guessing Miyagi & Bloody don't feel so well today.

Go Cats...Norwayne & Iggy

Go Browns

No.. Smithville has to be the number 1 of the 3 in county they are the only ones that have beat the state bound Cats thus far.

Doesn't work that way, as Hillsdale beat THEM!

We could work in circles, but the easiest thing to say is this: There were three VERY good teams in the WCAL this year, and we should be proud of the kind of football they all have played.

You are opening a paradox, 1 lost to 1 then 1 beat 1 who then beat 1. Some one call Rod Serling because you have entered the WCAL Zone!

The 1989 Bears would have beat em all....if we just would have went 10-0 instead of losing to West Holmes...We certainly would have been State Champs!:D

These days, they let soooo many team in the playoffs....back then, it wasnt so easy!

Hows that for stirrin a pot?

These days, they've proven that it has been warranted, a la the 2001 Smithies knocking off the #1 seeded two-time defending state champs in Round 1. ;)

Even if the Bobcats win Saturday! The 2002 Smithies are still better!

Newton Falls: Close game, but their line was pretty athletic for averaging 280 lbs per man, and that's not even an exaggeration.
Bedford St. Peter Chanel: Defending state champ ... ridiculously fast and athletic
Dalton: Tough team that year; only lost to Smithville by 2 points in the regular season, though they lost 35-8 in the Regional Championship.
Delphos St. John's: Back-to-back-to-back state champs in D6 before this year.
Marion Pleasant: Game was going well until it started to snow, and the Smithie passing game went to garbage.
