Joebaseball checking in. If someone didn't do it I thought about creating a board myself. I checked it on my Blackberry and it looks fine (fyi make sure you have updated your BB recently). I would like to see a baseball board. I am able to help moderate it if need be.

I'll say this, I've been on another forum and they have a NSFW forum. It's a hidden forum that only those given access can see. There is also a "request access to NSFW" forum and you have to fill out this form:

ALSO: If you have less than 100 posts, it is HIGHLY UNLIKLEY you will receive access. We watch the posts people make and can pretty much determine their maturity by those posts.

Obviously, this is where we post all the bad stuff that we don't want kids seeing. This is also a "privilege" that can be revoked with misuse. It also makes the site look a bit more "professional."

That's just my suggestion and if this does happen I have the PERFECT thread for it. It's around 50 pages on the other forum and it is the best thing ever.

Try to start generating conversation on the "Everything Else" high school board and he will put one up if the interest is there.

He's definitely completely open to the idea of expanding the high school sport boards to be more sport specific.

Well.... nobody is telling you to click on the threads. If you don't like it don't read it. Its that simple. If you don't like the board, go somewhere else

We definitely want to make things as safe as possible for those who browse from work or school. The board is still young so we are addressing things as they come up.

The only thing is I don't have a mail server yet, so no emails will be sent out. I am working on trying to figure that one out, it is not something I have ever set up before.

Not sure what your capabilities are, but i have seen forums that have little games attached to them. something like tetris and other simple games where they keep scores and stuff for each member. could make the board a little more competitive.

I am hearing mixed reviews from blackberry users. Some say it looks fine and some say it is difficult to read. For those having a hard time viewing, has your blackberry been updated recently?

Justin... something that would be nice for my incompetent ass, would be to add the picture and quote icons to the quick reply. So you don't have to do a new reply when you wanted to quote an article or post a pic, and don't know the HTML code;.

I'm on an older blackberry (8820), but the software was updated about a month ago. what makes it difficult is the loading of all the images (slows things down), and the signatures/replies aren't formatted, so it's straight text. That makes it very difficult to determine who said what to whom and when.

i would like it so when i quote a post and then someone quotes me, it only has my post, not the post i quoted and my post.

it's not huge, but it annoys me to have to read through and find what exactly is being quoted.

I want to be able to embed Youtube videos into posts! Hope it doesn't take up the sites bandwidth, but it will make for a much better youtube sharing experience.
