Thank for the suggestions, guys. I will look in to the mobile version and the thread preview feature. I noticed that as well, I used to use it all the time at the old place.

I would say coming from a HS football fan...a solid scoreboard area would be great! Nothing too complicated but a way to get all the scores around the state. This can also be used for the other sports as well.

A quick update on the "thread preview" feature:
http://dev.mybboard.net/issues/34

Unfortunately it was a feature they had planned to implement but it was apparently rejected 11 days ago and no long in the cards as far as being built in. I am going to look in to doing it myself, I will keep you all posted. Unfortunately this means it won't be a quick fix.

I found a plugin for this right after my post and it is now a feature.

I hate wanting things like that other site, but is there anyway something can be done like the color change of the thread that you have posted on??


And reading that again it makes no sense whatsoever, but I think someone might understand it.

I know this will sound like the other site, but it worked for a very long time. I would like to see forums set up for every major high-school sport and a forum just for updates. I really hope the people will get behind this and make this site the place for all your information.

I'll be making a thread on Friday in the HS Football forum for nothing but updates on scores for everyone to post on throughout Friday and Saturday. Should I start asking for people to text me the scores for the games too? :p

I will have the majority of HS football scores on Friday night. If I don't go out to a game and the girlfriend is at work I'll be able to help with updates.

A set of clear defined rules. Keep it simple and only enforce the rules you have.

The old site had a great layout for mobile phones (Blackberrys, etc) which I liked. The new site is just as bad as Yappi on a Blackberry. Anyway to implement a theme layout a la jj to make it parse better in a mobile phone?

My one idea, not because I am a prude or anything, but can we try and make a rule to edit or not include cuss words in thread titles? This is for strictly work-related reasons, not because I am a stickler. Just a thought though.
