The voters will take into consideration the 5 players suspended for tOSU when they rank them in the pre-season. If Ohio State can get through whatever amount of games they are suspended they will move up in the polls.

Well, #3 or #4 will drop after week 1. LSU and Oregon play (yeah LSU schedules tough OC games ;) ) against each other week 1, in which I see LSU winning. LSU has 18 returning starters while Oregon loses a good amount.
Bama, Ok St, and Ark are too high. Bama is the new media darling. Ark is losing Mallet.
OSU should move up. ND??????seriously?
Is TCU losing alot?

I'm surprised no one mentioned Arizona State. That's the first thing that popped out to me. Why in the hell would a team that finished .500 with a sub .500 conference record deserve to be in the top 25?

The FSU ranking is a bit premature, but I could see them finishing there. The Arkansas ranking is laughable.

They are giving Brian Kelly a shitload of respect for developing his offense and improvement from year one to year two. No way in hell they should be ranked higher than #18. I'd put them at #21.

Ohio State should be #6.

Oh, thats right. The tough teams are from above that line and playing games in Aug-sept up there are like playing in Antarctica.
LSU has scheduled better OOC games this year and next than anyone who is a big name program. (to go along with playing a brutal SEC schedule). LSU aint afraid to play whoever.

Yep, it probably isn't where they will be ranked (if they are at all) in the preseason polls. This poll is out 8 months before the season starts. It doesn't matter. The weird thing is that you comment only on Notre Dame. Why is that? If you hate them and they suck, why do you constantly have to comment about them? That doesn't seem healthy.

When was the last time an SEC team traveled to someone's place for a big OCC game? Last year they played WVU in Baton Rouge. When is the return trip? When will be the return trip to Eugene?

TCU loses Dalton, Carder and another good defender, but they're to the point that they have found their niche in Texas and the midwest and are getting some really solid kids to come in year after year. Add to the fact that they are about to join a conference that gives them AQ status, and they'll have no trouble landing some top-flight recruits in the near future. A lot of kids shy away from midmajors because you can go 12-1 in the MWC and get left out of a BCS game. If you go 11/12-1 in the bigeast, you're going to a BCS game. That's a huge advantage that they've not had since the old SWC days. To answer your question, I think this list has them too low. As of right now, I'd put them at about 10, OSU at 7, and FSU at 18. Until FSU proves they can win enough games to get them back to the BCS, they are too high.

Also, Oregon and Alabama should be switched (Oregon at #2, Alabama at 3). Oregon returns basically everyone on offense and several very good defenders (whole secondary). Alabama loses Ingram and 8+ year (lol) starting QB Greg McElroy and Julio Jones. The only proven offensive threat they have returning is Richardson.

To answer your question, they play @ WVU this year for the "return trip". And LSU plays Oregon in Texas. There's 2 games on the road against tough OOC teams.

I thought I read Oregon has alot of spots to fill?

A home game? This stuff is getting so old. Its not even in their own state idiot, so how's it a home game. This game is 100% neutral. I dont see OSU or any other top team scheduling the #3 team in the nation at the last minute. Let me guess, Auburn had a home game to when they played Oregon? Playing Oregon at Texas is not a "road" game.

But there is no doubt their schedule is extremely difficult.
