I'm gonna look pretty ridiculous in a 73 jersey but who cares.

Nothing sad about, LT is top 3-5 most important player on the team, even more for me since I'm a big believer in the lines. Peyton Manning can't throw TDs from his ass.

Didnt mean the line isnt important, especially LT position. Just rarely ever see people wearing those jerseys. Think the only exception i can think of was i think late 90s I saw a few Pace jerseys for STL

Very telling quote by Thomas on the dysfunction within the organization. Cribbs said basically the same thing a few months back.
Also, count me in with those who sport Joe Thomas jerseys. Solid investment. There's now a very solid plan," Thomas said. "Everybody in this organization is rowing the ship in the same direction -- for once.

That's not what I'm saying.
LT is probably the 2nd most important position besides QB.
But I mean when he's by far and away your best player and there's no one else worth getting a jersey for (which is tigernation's implication), then it's sad.
But I disagree with Tigernation. I think getting a McCoy, Ward, or Haden is fine. I just got my white Haden.

I would pretty much agree on all of the reasons given...as long as the starters on both sides of the ball stay healthy, they could surprise some people.
There's actually some very solid points in there. I agree about Colt, Little, and the secondary... I also think the DLine is becoming formidable.
However, the article states we cut Wright. We didn't. We actually offered him more money and a longer contract than Detroit, but he didn't see eye-to-eye with somebody in the organization and wanted a fresh start.

And this was the best news of the day for me. JT is THE most important player on the Browns, IMO. There is no shame when your best player is your LT because it gives you a very good foundation to actually build the rest of the offense.
And to lock him up for 7 years? 44 million guaranteed? Fuck yes.

If the Browns didn't play in such a tough division I could definitely see them being a potential surprise playoff team. But beating out the Ravens and/or Steelers will be tough. Doable, but tough.
They'll be fine catching the ball. In this offense, WR's aren't the "end all, be all." TE's & RB's are just as important.
Whether it's two 5 yard swing passes to a RB or a 10 yard pass to a WR, it's still moving the chains.
I will say that I think one of Mangini's 2nd round WR's (Robo or MoMass) SHOULD be on the chopping block. It should be Robo but I think Heckert loves him for some reason. Just think MoMass has more talent.
Kudos to Heckert on inking Joe Thomas. I really thought he'd be gone as there's supposedly a player for the Browns who commented he's just "doing his time and then moving on."
Also disagree with the article of the Browns being a playoff contender. Everything would have to fall into place but this team just doesn't have the depth and there WILL be injuries. There always are.

Haden is a solid choice. I'll throw Rubin out there as well, along with Mack and Hillis. As for me, I still rock my rock my Andra Davis jersey. Don't give a shit, favorite browns player.

I actually thought about a white Haden jersey. Where did you get it at? I thought I might have to get it customized...

I used jersey2shop.com $18, with $20 flat shipping rate. If you can find a bunch of buddys/get multiple jerseys it's definitely worth it.

Nothing wrong with that, unfortunately the only other Browns jersey I had was Quinn so I'm obviously not going to rock that.
If I can find some of my friends to get jerseys, I'm gonna place another order and get a Brown McCoy.
For those Cavs fans, the site I posted in response to TigerNation has Irving jerseys as well, I picked up a Red one.

I've heard about that site. Much better to buy in bulk.
Is that the site with the half & halfs? For instance, if you got a Joe Thomas #73 you could get 1/2 Browns, 1/2 Wisconsin (if you were a fan of both) on the jersey. Kinda like the jersey that Brady Quinn's sister wore (1/2 OSU, 1/2 ND) when AJ Hawk played against ND.

Not really sure about that. But they have a pretty damn good selection. In my younger days I would have gotten multiple jerseys of my favorite players but now I'm sticking to just Cleveland related ones.
I may also pick up a Druby

How legit are these jerseys? I might pick up the Rey Malaluga orange Browns jersey haha.
They also have the Reds throwbacks which run around $250. Even if they aren't 100%, they still appear real.
