good. i was worried that we weren't going to address our 13th most pressing need lol. nice pickup in small doses

but the falcons just inked clabo. it's got to be us for edwards now

Hardrsty is hillis backup, who actually is pretty injury prone himself...we needed someone reliable to back both those guys up...that money is nothing

I expect the Ray Edwards deal to be done tonight. Atlanta just resigned Clabo, thus leaving less money for Edwards on the table. Give it a couple hours, and it should be done. Like I said (and I can be wrong) if Edwards doesn't verbal tonight, he'll go somewhere else.

jackson played pretty damn good when he came in last season if I am correct (or am I thinking of somebody else?)

also, why are you guys so worried about overspending for Edwards? Its not your money.. The browns have what..$35 million to spend? Let em do it. He will only make the team that much better.

jackson's not terrible but the packers definitely struggled to replace ryan grant's productivity last season. now that could have been a banged up line as well (i don't know all the details of that)

better than average pass catcher out of the backfield. third down back for sure

Yep.

What's the wrap on the safety they got from New Orleans? The defense could be legit, especially if they get Edwards or Osi.

The right side of the offensive line is still a concern too...

Usama Young only started six games in New Orleans, but he's expected to come in and compete for a starting spot at FS. High motor player who can really hit. Guess we'll see though.
