This will be my selfish thread where I'll post videos/pics from the interviews and other stuff you guys won't find interesting.

1. I promise there will be no Thad thread this year.

2. If you all think this thread is stupid and feel dumber for opening it, then I'll gladly delete it. Just trying to give you guys something different to see before the game.

Of course there is no Thad this year, he didn't return to school after the Rose Bowl last year! :)

Really though, I saw a tweet that Pryor was set to talk to the media at 10 this morning. Did he have anything good to say?

Just got back from the press conferences, I'll post some videos soon. Nothing too crazy. Pryor spoke extremely softly so it was impossible for me to get a video, but he was fed up of suspension questions and at one point asked Jerry Emig (one of the Sports Information Directors) if he had to answer them, to which Jerry said, I can't stop them from asking.

He was asked if he initially thought about going to the NFL after the suspension, to which he said yes because of the amount of games missed, and then also went on to say he wasn't even sure if he was going to be able to start when he comes back.

After all that, I'm sort of entertaining idea he may still leave...

Asked about Kirk Herbstreit's recent criticism of him, said "I don't care what Kirk Herbstreit says, has he beat Michigan?"
He really must not like Herbie.

Also, Dane Sanzenbacher was named team MVP and when Bollman was asked if it was a coach vote, he (Bollman) was very adamant that Dane earned the respect of the players and mentioned that Dane was the first player under Tressel to win most inspirational and team MVP.

This would really piss me off. I know his agreement with Tress is non binding with no paperwork, but that just goes to show you where that kid's head is at. He blatently lied to Tress just to get another free trip out of things before he thinks about moving on. What a joke

This is the exactly reason why Tressel did what he did and why he told us about it; it makes him the sympathetic figure in all of this. Either he looks like the hero for getting them to come back and serve their punishment, or they look like selfish liars if they leave.

OSU Student Radio. Funded by the Athletic Department. It's not just football and basketball we have broadcasters that do as many sports as possible like volleyball, mens/womens hockey, softball, baseball, lacrosse, and a couple others I can't think of off the top of my head.

I just really appreciate the opportunity I have and like to share with others some of the stuff I see/hear that won't always get reported by the Dispatch guys.

No updates as of now, I'll try and post some throughout the day.

I had a friend that did that a couple years ago and he loved it. He used to sneak us onto the field for a the first half of a couple games which was a pretty cool experience.

Are you up in the box the entire game or do you ever get down to the field?

Nope. Everyone is convinced (so I have no reason not to be also) that this whole situation has brought the team closer in the sense that they want to win. I don't think this situation surprised anyone because Pryor isn't the vocal leader of this team, whereas in '06 you saw Troy Smith lose control of the locker room for whatever reason (I'm not going to speculate, other people can) and Troy WAS the leader.

Not yesterday because no one spoke to the media after the bowl games started. OSU will be available to the media at 4 PM (5 PM eastern) so when I come back from that hopefully I'll be able to provide some more info.

Because everyone expects it to rip the team apart, and the seniors on this team won't let that happen. When you have vocal leaders like Cameron Heyward and Dane Sanzenbacher that are the ones running the locker room, I tend to be more confident than if it was Pryor's locker room, ya know?

Not to mention Brewster and Stoneburner, to name a few, have posted on twitter the importance of the Buckeye family and coming together as a team to win. When I say stronger, I mean stronger than you expect, not stronger than if it would have not happened.

I understand that, but no matter how strong they think they are, this will cause problems on the field and in the huddle Tuesday IMO

It's a matter of opinion. The only thing I can say is we'll see what happens Tuesday. I just personally think because the leadership doesn't revolve around TP, Boom, etc. it's not as big of a deal.
