Whatever goodwill Holmgren has built up in Cleveland will fly out the window if he tries Morningwheg after his disastrous stint in Detroit.
He need look no further than Brad Childress to see how well it works out when you have a Reid assistant who doesn't even call plays as offensive coordinator. Childress was exposed when he was not able to ride Reid's coatails, and Cleveland doesn't need to have Marty remind everyone that his experience in Detroit is what everyone knows he is as a head coach.
