Pryors YPA is 0.39 yards higher than Smith's. Smith's long was 58. Pryor's 65. Pryor could have easily had 4 passes that were "outliers" and skewed the numbers, while Smith might not have had the BIG gains, but still had more completions over 20.
To think that Pryor throws a better deep ball than Smith is ludicrous. Pryor has NO chance in hell of starting more games than Smith has in the NFL, and that's not saying much considering Smith hasn't started that many.
You're saying my post has stupidity yet you are the one that needs to re-read what I wrote. I NEVER said that Pryor throws a better deep ball than Smith. I said that Pryor's STRENGTH( as in an individual strength) was the deep ball, which it is. Besides I was just responding to this absurd comment.
And I'm sure if you looked at passes completed over 20 yards Smith probably has twice as many as Pryor. Smith is 10x better than Pryor.
If he did complete twice as many passes as Pryor over 20 yards, he would not only likely have a larger YPA than Pryor, it would be by a substantial difference.
