Bob Costas once took Cris Carter (he specified him but meant it in general as well) to task (not face to face) for that point to the sky gesture Cris would make after a big catch. Costas said something to the effect of,"There are wars, atrocities, painful deaths, disease, hunger, etc. going on and you really expect me to believe God had some hand in a critical 3rd down reception in a football game??? That's absurd."
