Not doubting that any of what you say happened, just that it's teenage kids who dont like losing and were 24 hours removed from finding out about the sudden passing of a teammate. If it's not being addressed them that's concerning, but none of is see what goes on behind closed doors.

If he yanks a kid and gets in his face then the same contingent is calling him out for being too aggressive and shame on him for showing up a kid in front of his family.

Please do me a big favor seriously. Do not use the death of Cody Hines as an excuse to losing a football game. That is just disrespectful to the friends and family of this young man. There is no comparison to losing a meaningless football game to losing a young mans life. This site has become "garbage" and Im shocked as well respected as you are you would even go there. If saying that middle finger had to do with a death is just appalling. Im officially signing off of this site as it just became not about football anymore!

Have you ever lost anyone dear to you? If so, then you would know how emotional you are during that time. It's not an excuse for anything or anyone, it's a fact. As I said before, I'm sure the last place the young man's head was at, just like the rest of the teams, was in the game. If you don't think that a death could be the cause of anyone's actions LAST NIGHT, then you are being ridiculous. These are KIDS that just lost a friend and a teammate. You're ridiculing of them after the emotions they must have had last night is what is appalling. The fact that you expect them to play a perfect game after just losing a life is what is appalling. The fact that you can't step back and look and realize it was just a meaningless game to these kids last night is what is appalling.

If the team was so distraught over the loss of a team-mate, would it have been better to simply forfeit the "meaningless" game?

As a coach, you don't have to publicly humiliate a player, however, if the "obscene gesture" was what initiated the unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, and I'm sure the officials informed the coach/coaches, should they not have pulled him from the game immediately?

You all have a tendency to play the "they're kids" card way too much especially when things aren't going well.
Most of these young men are juniors and seniors in high school, many of them operate motor vehicles on public roads, that among many things is not an arena for kids.

Why is it so important to know who rrn is?

The administration did talk about postponing the game, but everyone thought it was ok to play it as scheduled.

Was it the administration or the team, and by team I mean the players, not the coaches. And if it was the team, then should not "some" of the distraction talk be put aside.

Since the game was played, and "perhaps" the unsportsmanlike conduct was a result of emotions from the loss of a friend/fellow student, the (adults), coaches should have been more wary of the students feelings. They do know the players particularly well by now one would surmise. And if they simply can't stand losing, shouldn't the coaching staff be well aware of that also?

2 things RR1 if you pais attention I told you I would be in Vegas for the next booster club meeting so I wont be in Orrville. I run a very successful business and have a life outside of Orrville sports. Secondly reveal myself to the world? Really Im not that imoprtant and even if I said my name most of you would say never heard of him. If things are that boring in the town of Orrville that you are anxiously awaiting for me to reveal my name then I dont know what to say. Maybe come to Vegas with me and leave your sheltered life. Last thing is this before I depart this site: Someone on Huddle posted a thread saying "Is it time for a coaching change in Orrville" and it isnt me because I dont have a screen name over there and I have been watching a movie. So Im not the only one who feels this way and its been great talking to each and everyone of you regardless of what your opionions are. As always no matter who our coach is" Go Red Riders!

I don't think anyone really "cares" who you are RRN. But first, you get on here and make claims that you are a female. Then admit you lied about that. Well I can't really comment on that either way. I don't know if the coaches made a decision by themselves, or if the kids were even asked about whether or not they felt like playing the game. I'd imagine the kids had no say so in it though.
