I'll start. We need to find a way to win this Friday.
Hard to believe that if we win out we can STILL get a home game in round 1.

I felt a little better about Wooster's chances on my way out of Red Rider Stadium on Friday night. With that said, the McCreary's will surely find a way to get blown off the field still.

Does anyone know why the final two freshman games have been cancelled?

I heard they had some kids hurt and numbers are never real strong at the freshman level....so guessing it's a numbers thing and in the best interest of the kids safety.

That is unfortunate that the numbers are getting that low.....most people think nothing of it, but in reality this is a setback in the development of each and every player.

I for one am extremely disappointed with the big identity revealing!.....With all the hype I was hoping he was going to announce that he was BATMAN!.....and all we get is JEREMY RANDLES!
....REALLY?!?!What a big let down!

Well, I have never had so many students comment today about the going's on of the Ohio Chatter over the weekend. The natives are angry. I'm not telling posters to not say this or that, I'm just asking that you keep this in mind when you are posting.
I agree with RR1 in that I am amazed that we have such a good chance to still get in the play-offs at this point. We need some consistency to finish this out on a high note.
As promised, I give a BRF Shout-Out to my 8th period Current Events class!

Same reasons as to why WH cancelled their frosh schedule and are now playing JV.RedRider1;928989 wrote:I heard they had some kids hurt and numbers are never real strong at the freshman level....so guessing it's a numbers thing and in the best interest of the kids safety.

Orr Fans.....
Wake up man!...things aren't that bad. Running the table is doable! There isn't any team left on your schedule that the Riders haven't spanked in the past.
Sportmanship is a problem every team deals with........sputtering offenses have a way of awakening when they're talented....and guess what?.... Orrville is talented.
The OCC has been quite an enigma this year....up and down....mostly down.
What isn't an enigma is D4-R13.......1/Canton Central Catholic.......2/Girard.......3/Norwayne. As I see it, these are the other region contenders.
....the Crusaders, I don't know if Klinefelter is still coaching there or not, either way they play a decent schedule and can be had. I'm not positive, but doesn't Orrville owe them one.
....Girard, big time offense. schedule not as tough as Orrville (IMO)
....Norwayne, they haven't been tested and they definitely haven't played anyone remotely near Orrvilles caliber. I would LOVE to see this game happen.
I don't know about you guys.....but I smell a playoff run.
Friday is the first step....win.....score doesn't matter, stats don't matter....just win.....and the healing will begin.

Great post bloody!
We spanked CCC in the first round of the 2006 playoffs...but nothing wrong with doing it again!

BT: Giving us the Knute Rockne style pep talk! I'm still laughing about a guy (Miyagi) going to the trouble of making a new screen name to TRY to be funny. OK....it WAS funny and I guess we needed some humor. Boy, the Class of '94 picture in the hallway was an object of great scrutiny today!

Orrville team records going to the playoffs
6-4, 3 times 1992, 2003, 2005
7-3 6 times 1983, 89, 97, 04, 09, 2010
8-2 2 times 1999, 2006
9-1 5 times 1985, 1986, 1990, 94, 98,
9-0 1 time 1980
10-0 4 times 1984, 1987, 1988, 1995
So we have actually gone to the playoffs more times at 7-3 than any other record
5 games at home 1985 (9-1) , 1999 (8-2) , 2005 (6-4) , 2006 (8-2) , 2009 (7-3) 2010 (7-3)
6-4, 3 times 1992, 2003, 2005
7-3 6 times 1983, 89, 97, 04, 09, 2010
8-2 2 times 1999, 2006
9-1 5 times 1985, 1986, 1990, 94, 98,

A win over Madison is a must to have a home game in round one. An Orrville win gets us to at least 4th and combined with a LaBrae loss and Northwest win could get us to 2nd next week. A LaBrae win moves them into 2nd ahead of Norwayne, while an Orrville win and W.Holmes win could also put us ahead of Norwayne with a Northwest win moving us ahead of Norwayne for certain. A loss would drop us to 8th to 10th range depending on 2nd level results.
