What the fuck is going on with Sid that he isn't in uni yet?? How bad was his concussion?? I don't want to sound insensitive to his injury, as it obviously is serious, but damn. He hasn't played in 2 months....

His agent came out and said yesterday that he hasn't began skating at all and he still isn't symptom free.

The Devils have been outstanding since Lemaire returned behind the bench. It'll be a snoozer though.

Come on Pens, we need points!

On another subject, Trevor Gillies of the Islanders was suspended 10 games for his elbow to the head on Minnesota's Clutterbuck the other night. Mind you, this was his first game back from the 9 game suspension he received after that disgrace against the Pens and it was only 2 minutes in to the game. This guy should have been suspended for the rest of the year, minimum, maybe even in to next year! Just goes to show you that Mario Lemieux was spot on with his comments about this garbage.

Pittsburgh losses another close game in OT tonight against the Devils. Picking up the point is nice but at some point they're going to have to start winning games like this.

One guy I work with is a big Penguins fan and said that he did try to skate at some point and was falling down. Rumor he is hearing is their might be some permanent brain damage that would prevent him from ever playing again. While a rumor mill statement, this wouldnt surprise me if he is still having concussion like symptoms for over 2 months. Also, if it really is this serious that explains why everyone is so tight lipped about it. As a hockey fan I really hope this isn't true.

I'm sorry but, I very seriously doubt this.

-David Perron has been out since around late October with a concussion

-Matthew Lombardi has been out since October with a concussion

Everyone is different when it comes to recovering from a concussion.

I doubt it as well...but how is it that these guys are out so long with concussions when football players are back within 2 weeks routinely?

There's other rumors out there........Sid has a tumor or Sid has spinal/kneck damage, what some people will reach for to get a story is amazing!

Mark Madden from The X in Pittsburgh says that all of these rumors are bullshit and that Sid suffering from back to back concussions. He may not have had symptoms after the Steckel hit but the second hit did him in, which in most severe concussion cases it's always the second concussion that screws you up.

Pens and Bruins are scoreless after one period of play.

The Bruins are trying to "goon" it up tonight by crosschecking everything that moves, especially that bum Lucic, who should be suspended right now! BTW, Chara looks like an inbred version of Big Bird with a unibrow.

Pens win 3-2 in another OT game. They had the lead only to see the Bruins tie it up with 32 seconds left just after the Pens missed an empty net.

Finally the Pens turn the corner and win one of these extremely tight games. I'm looking fo them to turn the corner and start geling in time fot the playoffs.

4 OT games in a row and the end of a long stretch on the road. I think the Pens only have 1 game over the next 6 days, so hopefully some bodies will heal during this stretch.

Pens picked up six points on that 5 game road trip, pretty damn good considering the circumstances.

I really believe this team is heading in the right direction now, they're starting to get healthy and if Sid ever comes back they have a real shot to go all the way. Fleury has been money and will only get stronger, the defense and PK is very good, just need to score some more goals. You have to believe at some point Neal will break out too.

The Pens won b/c they outworked the "Broons" and the "Broons" had a hard time with the their fore-check.

Yes they did, the Pens forced a ton of turnovers.

Btw, idk if it was Steigy or Errey who said the Cam Neely reference about Milan Lucic. It doesn't matter who said but, it should've never been said.

Idiotic? Give me a break! Boston has a bunch of crybaby fans and Cam Neely was one of the biggest crybaby players ever, fuck him!

LOL.......trolling? Kind of tough to be trolling on my favorite teams thread you dip shit.

BTW, you're not going to win a damn thing, Pittsburgh is starting to put it together even with out Crosby, the goal flood gate is going to open soon. Boston.......LMFAO, what a bush league team!
