Also, I hope Crosby picks Ovechkin for his All Star team...if he picks Malkin that'd just be lame, when else would we see these guys play together? But Crosby will probably be lame as hell and pick Malkin which means we'll see Stamkos and Ovie score 6 goals each.

Also, what the hell is with Pitt doing white outs at home? They wear black, it looks moronic having the home fans wearing the away team colors. Why not do a black out? or light blue out? or wear white jerseys when they do a white out? Makes no sense to me

How dumb are you? Seriously?
Sid backchecks, froechecks, leads the league in face offs and face off %.
Ovechkin is just a cherry picker.

Why do you guys continue to give CoA what he wants. He will be gone soon, if they mods are actually paying attention.
I'm wondering if I'll get the Pens game tonight, probably stuck Rangers/Canes.

This is a Pens discussion thread....keep it on the Pens and their opponents. Maybe someone should start a "random NFL chatter" thread.

4-0 Pens with 10 min left in the FIRST PERIOD.Commander of Awesome;626831 wrote:Very easily see the Pens lose this game tonight. TB plays together like a team and are more physical. They beat Washington last night and are 2nd in the east in the right now. Stamkos and St. Louis are also the best center winger combo in the league right now and could see them light the pens def up. Should be a good game, but I bet they pull out a win tonight against crosby and the pens.
Another brilliant call Commander. I'm looking for a four letter word that would fit this situation....can you guess it?

I'm just following the gamecast. What a great response after a lackluster Winter Classic.

The Malkin line being centered by Jordan Staal has looked fantastic tonight. Staal looks like he's in midseason form. This could be the line that puts them over the top.

Off night for TB last night for sure, I dont think anyone would have predicted that. Similar to the beat down the Browns gave the Pats int he regular season. Happens, thats why there's 82 games I suppose. I didn't see any of you predicting a blow out like that either so lolfails on you for trying to call me on that.
Now my question here, are the pens peaking too early? Normally you want to peak right around the beginning of the playoffs, I'd be concerned that they're peaking too early. I hope the coach can keep the teams focus.

Dominating win for the Pens. Definitely no fluke. AWESOME performance.
Just keep proving the doubters wrong.

Pens are in Montreal tonight to play the Habs. This game will be particularly telling IMO because Montreal has been a royal pain in the ass for the Pens lately.

lol....the Browns game was a fluke, this was not. No comparison. So you are saying Pittsburgh is a bottom feeder and Tampa Bay is New England? lolol You need to wake up my friend!
I'm not worried about "peaking too early." This team has all the tools to make another deep playoff run. Barring any major injuries I see them doing just that.

Geno looked real good last night. He looked comfortable with his linemates for the first time all year since he was paired up with Tangradi.
