Checking or taking runs at people? He will eventually get his in that regard too, some big defenseman's going to lay him out when he least expects it.Raw Dawgin' it;623103 wrote:He's 6th in hits this year, checking doesn't seem to be the problem...

Better that picture than this one of Crosby posing for gay mens magazines...

Look who's talking about class! You wouldn't know class if it slapped you in the face! BTW, that's how hockey is played, players remember when they've been hit with a cheap shot and Ovechkin's done it plenty of times in his career, sooner or later it will catch up to him!

Um Ovechkin does take runs at people. I don't care though, I like his game. He plays balls out...nothing wrong with that.

Why don't you ladies do us all a favor and take your cat fight to PM? Thanks.
Staying on topic. What happened to the glass right at the start of the Winter Classic? As soon as I turned it on there was a stoppage to repair it.

Boarding people from behind, leaving your feet on a check and taking blatant cheap shots is OK? There's a code in the game and he has crossed the line more than a few times, eventually someone's going to lay him out.

Ovechkin hit Michalek and a pane popped out. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Pittsburgh signed current defenseman Deryk Engelland to a three year $1.7 million dollar contract. Good signing IMO, Engelland is a decent defensman and a very good fighter/enforcer and the money was right. It also solidifies the much needed depth the Pens now have in defense.

Sidney Crosby is the leading vote getter for the NHL All Star game:
http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/news/story?id=5988095
Malkin finished third behind Jonathan Toews. Pittsburgh's Marc Andre Fleury led all goalies and Kris Letang, a write in candidate, led all defenseman.......that's unheard of.

Not suprised that Crosby is the leading vote getter. He's the biggest name out there, similar to Troy being voted to the pro bowl last season despite playing 5 games.

Congrats to Sid. Well deserved as he's having an outstanding season. His play is definitely worthy of getting the most votes.
