It was going to end at some point. It was a helluva run for Sid though.

Saw highlights of the game and once again this team does not know how to play against a trapping team. Instead of trying to stickhandle between 4 guys at the blue line just fucking dump and chase.

If they move it to 8pm on saturday, the only thing that it would compete with is the Fiesta Bowl. I'm pretty sure ratings would be better for a outdoor game with the NHL's two best players at night.

figures after about a month of snow and freezing temps, it's supposed to be about 55 degrees for the Winter Classic

No doubt but the main concern is if they had to move to Sunday because the NFL would crush them in ratings.

Just saw on ESPN's bottom line that later on Saturday is still an option for the Winter Classic.

As we both said, the Fiesta Bowl wouldn't be a huge problem for the WC if they did go head to head considering the matchup isn't that intriguing.

Radio here is saying noon if moved to Sunday. Who knows, I just hope the NHL doesn't screw this up.

I'd watch 'til the Steeler game started at 1:00 and then I'd check the score at halftime of the game. That's it.

Yeah and hoping the Steelers can get up by 4 TD's by halftime.

Yeah, I'll have to miss it though.

I work Saturday evening.

I'm hoping they update the menu on the guide or I might not be able to set the DVR.

The Winter Classic will be played and finished today even if they have to have rain delays during the game. NBC has an agreement with the NFL to not televise this game on Sunday.

I don't like the trend here for Pittsburgh sports at the start of the new year.

Lose at home in the Winter Classic.

Newly hired Pitt football coach gets arrested, jailed and fired.

Disappointing game. The Steelers better win tomorrow or this will be a totally shitty weekend.
Fleury is good between the pipes, but he's a very poor stick handler behind the net...always has been.

Shitty loss by the Pens. It burns me to watch Ovechkin jumping up and down like a school girls after they won, you'd of thought it was game seven of the Stanley Cup finals.

Great win for the Caps last night on a national stage. I saw it coming as I just couldn't see ovechkin losing to sid two in a row. Really shows on a national stage how good Ovechkin is when the pressure's on. Best player in hockey imo.

Well for many, its the only hockey game of the year that they watch, its a big win for the Caps, being a national stage like that. I know many that will watch the winter classic but dont pay an ounce of attention to the finals.
