Just a note to anyone who is interested in "inner city vouchers" in the Youngstown area. A student has to come from a school that is in academic emergency to qualify for a state voucher. The ONLY school district in the Youngstown area "Campbell, Boardman, Struthers, etc." is the Youngstown city schools. So there is NO student attending Mooney or Ursuline on a voucher unless he or she comes from the Youngstown city school system. The last time I looked Youngstown doesn't encompass 3 counties. And both Mooney and Ursuline are in the city of Youngstown.
Another point to ponder for you parochial school haters... our Gov. Mr. Kasich wants to expand the voucher system. I can't wait.

never stole anybody . The very very few transfers we have gotten at Big Red that played football pales in comparrison to ur schools .. We have gotten far more transfers that dont even play football ,, but as usual people like you try to cloud the issue with lies.. BTW with the power that Mooney has because of its former students ,its a big joke . no i cant proove it Im in Steubenville . I seen that team and it is never a D-3 school team it averages 300 across the line year in and year out common sense is all i have I know the truth . Same with Ursulin .. If most folks want to bury there heads in the sand then fine . Ive followed Youngstown since the 80's Ive seen enough people on here complain about a kid from Campbell or another place being stolen and ends up at Mooney .. What was that one kids name that is at Penn St now?
I watch all kinds of high school teams and very very few can field a team from a school that size d-3 or d-5 in the entire USA with that caliber.
My point is you have a very larg metro area and those 2 schools with small enrollment get all the best football players in the area up there . I went to the Boardman Mooney game a few years ago . A friend of mine is a big Mooney fan and we went . like I said you have a huge following even down here and you probably could get some Central kids ..

Those kids are not really attending DI colleges. That is just a hoax by the Youngstown Vindicator to cover Mooney and Ursuline's collective "arses". Everyone knows that the only good athletes in the Youngstown area go to Mooney or Ursuline. If you don't believe what I'm saying just ask Thick or Skank.

You guys have what 250,000 people in Trumble and Mahoning counties atleast .
All I know is Mooney puts out a very good D-1 team every year not D-3 school D-1 team and they can win the D-1 championship more so than can Cinci St X or Elder .. You guys have far too much strenght to be playing for a D-3 championship . That is the premise of this whole topic about your schools .
There is nooo way to govern your recruiting. Massillon ,Warren Canton McK have all been sanctioned by the OHSAA . You are a private school and it is soo easty for you to recruit under a different guise. Im not burrying myself I have alot of other people that believe the same as me .

What kind of double life are you leading . How are you expert on football accross the state .
