I have it on good authority that this is completely false! Neither of these kids come from Mooney or Ursuline therefore they can not be good enough to play at a DI school. I'm not even sure these people exist.

What kind of double life are you leading . How are you expert on football accross the state . You talk alot of smack on Steubenville and I never said a word about Sylvania Southview ,so you just decided your going to take sides cause you think your so smart .

Yes we have sent you over the edge I see. For one Sylvania Southview is the school that I support but my Alma Mater is Lowndes County HS in Valdosta, GA. I have mentioned things about Youngstown schools because that appears to be the area that is getting attacked. So I can't have knowledge about football across the state? I happen to have awfully good sources in NWO, NEO, Central Ohio, and SWO. But I want you to show me where I have talked smack about Steubenville? I just make fun of you.

It's Lowndes HS, Valdosta is our rival pay attention buddy. But if you think that is talking smack about Steubenville isn't it the truth? The Massillon comment was geared towards skank who I think is more capable of fighting his own battles. Once again you have a problem with me liking the office? I know we're sending you over the edge.

That's what he does. Then when he realizes how dumb he looks, he goes with the ol' "Oh relax fellas, I'm just having fun." thing.

I bet Y-Town would be crying if they couldn't stack their team , then how could they say we are the best ? They play D5 were the public schools are playing who they have not who they get. So say what you want it's not fair and never will be !!!

How would the Parochials in Youngstown say they aren't the best? It's pretty easy. Ursuline did it for decades until 2000 when they won their first state championship. Mooney has always had a history of being good (which is why kids have always wanted to go there to play). But don't think they haven't had down years. Mooney had no trouble saying they weren't the best in 2000, 2001, and 2002 when they won a combined 10 games.

Why don't you guys realize that Mooney and Ursuline started getting REALLY good around the same time. That time coincides with when the Youngstown city schools started closing, and charter schools began gaining popularity in the area. Vouchers became available to a lot of people because the Youngstown schools were in disarray, and many parents made the choice to send their kids to Mooney and Ursuline. Mooney has seen an increase in enrollment (hence the bump from D4 in the early 2000's up to D3 now).

Call that stacking the team if you want. But don't give me this line of crap like it's something that has been going on forever in Youngstown. If you don't like it, petition the state of Ohio to not allow the voucher system. But good luck with that, since the governor is actually INCREASING that system. Maybe he realizes that everyone should have the right to a good education at a private school. Or is he part of some big conspiracy, too?

sherm03 you are wasting your breath these guys have a one track mind. It doesn't matter that the city of Youngstown went from 6 public high schools to just 2. With only 1 having sports. It doesn't matter that Youngstown Public Schools were the only school system ran by the state. When we played Ursuline in the 80's we beat them every time but Mooney was always good. But closing North, East, South, Rayen, and Wilson what is a parent in Youngstown left to do? The new East is not East and that is not Chaney! But no one wants to admit it, but all Youngstown area schools have benefited. Not just Mooney and Ursuline.

Nope not crying just stating facts. How many D 5 teams come up with a line like a D1 school, if Y Town is down to one public school then that may answer some things but how does that seem fair to the little D5 schools who play hard and try to win with the kids they have. Sorry its not apples to apples. As I had said before I would pay to watch these teams but play each other and see who comes out on top.

Yes and they are very good (MAC teams) but they play with what they got and work hard. Nothing is wrong with that or any team working hard but play who you have then it will even out
