But seriously, I realize that, and I agree, they just take a little MORE of an interest in the "student" who runs a 4.4 40 and BP's 375.
Catholic schools, since they are an extension of the Catholic Church, take an interest in all aspects of a student's life including education, home life, community involvement, etc. A 4.4 forty is a bonus. In that case we bow our heads and thank God for the gifts he gives us.

Sherm is right on point about Beachum. Poland found out about where the young man's residence was and asked him to leave. This has been rehashed hundreds of times but I guess one more time won't kill me

Because of a divorce, Beachum could no longer play at Poland due to the fact that his mother lived in the City of Youngstown. His choices were Youngstown City Schools, Mooney, Ursuline, or an Open Enrollment School

Sorry to kill your conspiracy theory. It did seem to work out for him, by the way

Whatever. They found out in week 7 that he wasn't eligible to play at Poland. HE TOLD THEM before week 10 that he was leaving, but they let him play against Canfield in week 10 knowing that he wasn't eligible

Go sit in the corner and let the adults discuss things. You make yourself look sillier and sillier with every post.

Hey Sherm, will you and or Papa Sherm be at the Mooney at McKinley game? I might go. There are a lot of good "pop stands in the area. Ouaker State wings is good and so is a place called Jersey's.

I will be in Florida when the Cards make the trip to Canton for that game. Papa will most likely be making the trip. But I'm not 100% sure.

It's a pipeline state. And Mooney intends to keep it that way! Afterall, those elementary schools kids aren't going to find their way to Mooney all by themselves. They need a little guidance. LOL.

By the way Coyotes...any chance you can make it up to Cleveland Saturday night? Doing a show up there and I'm not sure when I'll be performing in NE Ohio again.

It's at The Winchester. I'm doing about a 30 minute set to open up for a buddy of mine. Tell your wife to quit her job, stay home with the kids, and you can come out and drink beers and laugh.

Just found out recently that a running back from Mooney who lettered as a sophomore last year has transferred and will be playing for Fitch next year.

Explanation? Skank?

I can't say for sure, But if I were to guess, I'd say with the 3 or 4 running backs that "transferred" IN, this kid probably assumed that his playing time was going to be cut significantly, therefore, he transferred....Just a guess.

Maybe Fitch became private like Poland did.
