How does it feel to be perfect and never be wrong in your opinions and minds eye? Seriously, how does it feel? Perhaps life has dealt you a harsh blow. Perhaps you weren't the jock you wanted to be in HS, but instead set the bench praying for better days. Perhaps your coach finally called your name, go get'em alma, only to get in, but to sadly have a public school linebacker hand you your teeth back with a shrug and smile on his face. Perhaps this is your way to get even with the HS world of publics vs privates. What a sad and pathetic little individual you seem to be. It must be a lonely existence for someone that is never wrong, but probably also has nobody in his life to relate these feelings to except his little keyboard, mouse and monitor. You probably feel invinceable once you push that magical button on your computor. Time to get to work and prove these public HS bastards wrong. What a pathetic little life you must lead.
Gosh, not so nice. And definitely confused!! Before launching the ad hominem attack, you may want to actually read my posts. Presuming this step goes well, you'll quickly notice two things that make your own slam here a little less effective: 1. I know the most about and put most of my support behind a PUBLIC program (Ironton). and 2. I've admitted mistake with alacrity the couple times folks have been kind enough to correct me on here.
You've really got to read and think carefully about what I'm saying, which is mostly that as a supporter of a public school program there is no need to whine about the privates, that it is counterproductive and only hurts the kids and the programs you (presumably) mean to support. If you have any questions about that, lemme know and I'll be happy to fill in the blanks. And, of course, correct any factual mistakes I make, though, broadly, the anti-privates brigade here isn't big on the whole facts thing (that's more sherm's gig). As for your junior Freud imitation, I'm bemused but certainly not impressed with your accuracy. You definitely should keep your day job, as applicable. And I won't take your bait and starting slinging back. You're probably a terrific guy, just a little emotional on this issue, which is OK. We all wish our teams would win even more often. All I can suggest is that you put the energy positively into the programs you support and stop trying to figure out which shady force is blocking your chance of success. I promise it ain't me!! And if you want ideas on how to best support a program, which in my case happens to be public even though that doesn't matter one iota, just let me know that, too, and I'll try and help.
