^^Yep.

Copley this year was pretty good. He was a homer, but balanced it with good info and all the necessary stuff. Not too over the top.

He just messes up an awful lot that was the main reason for comment.....I like Kent he is a very good ad and does so much for the athletics department.

Agreed, some of the errors may be from trying to say something to quickly and spotters getting wrong numbers of players in the piles.

Kent did a very good job on the PA system at Orrville. I agree with those that say he could wait another 1-2 seconds to hear a statistician to say exactly how many yards were gained. Most of the time he was correct, but sometimes he was off by 2-3 yards on very short plays. I guess I'm used to our "homer" at Triway, though. He always waits for me to say a number for yards gained/lost before he announces it on the PA, which normally doesn't take very long unless the referees start fumbling around the ball and fail to spot it on the field (rainy games are the WORST since the refs don't set the ball on the ground until the very last moment). Overall, though, Kent did a great job. And I always like PA announcers who like to give scores. :)

Good luck to Orrville!!! The kids have worked hard and will be ready to compete. I'm anticipating a close game with an Orrville win of course.

riders1 & oldrider...and whoever else.
I'm up for either....pre-gaming always feels rushed. I probably couldn't get there until 5:30-5:45...and that would leave just an hour. Not really worth it to me. I'd rather meet afterwards....but whatever.

Playoff games are tougher to pick with Fantastic50 or CalPreps model. Very few common opponents means increased variables....which means lower % picks....and both CalPreps and Drew were down from their weeks 7-10 picks.
