You didn't respond to a single one of the points I made. Instead, you cited some random crap about (1) GWB's tax break (which, by the way, benefited everyone--the "top 2% issue" is with regard to the extension of the tax cuts, not the tax cuts themselves), and (2) that I don't think the "top 2%" should have to pay their fair share. It's not worth getting into what their "fair share" is, as I somehow don't think we'll see eye-to-eye on it.

Regardless, though, do you care to respond to the substance of my post? Or are you going to continue to post this mindless drivel? It's folks like you who give unions a bad name--if you want to argue your point, fine, but when you repeat talking points with no substance and then attack people who disagree with you, you make it easy for the rest of us to paint all union guys with the same brush.

If you'd prefer just to scream and shout, and then pout when someone demonstrates the inanity of your position, I'm sure there are plenty of middle schools around where you can contest the intellectual high ground.

because you didnt make one good point , all you spew is the same shit fox airs on a daily basis. maybe if you could form your own ideas , i might listen. till then i view as some bible thumpin mentally weak conservative dweeb that is afraid of anyone that threatens life as they know it. the bottom line is union are and they arent going anywhere despite all your whining and the whining of the rest of your pathetic cronies on left. your post have no substance , they are merely the ramblings of a jibbering idiot. go find a drool cup

I don't really feel the need to defend my intellect here. I feel confident that if people read my posts and then read yours, they're not going to be handing me the drool cup. But for what it's worth, I've never watched Fox News in my life, nor do I listen to Rush (or any talk radio for that matter), nor do I vote straight R ticket. I imagine it's probably easier for you to assume that anyone who disagrees with your restatement of history and economics (in such a way as to totally rewrite what actually happened) must be a "bible thumpin mentally weak conservative dweeb that is afraid of anyone that threatens life as they know it."

I would recommend that you continue posting on this thread, however, as I think you're probably doing a better job destroying the credibility of your position than I am.

FFT is on a roll.

I particularly liked his statement that yelling talking points and insulting those who disagree doesn't really accomplish anything and makes talking about the subject pretty pointless. It was in a nutshell what the Rally to Restore Sanity was about.

If you cannot calmly argue your position then perhaps it isn't a good one or you don't have the proper disposition to talk politics.

It may have been what the Rally to Restore Sanity was allegedly about but from what I observed, it was largely whiny-ass leftists wearing their own talking points designed to belittle those in the Tea Party movement (particularly those who participated in the Glenn Beck rally) and conservatives in general. But I defend their right to insult whomever they wish! Just sayin'....

The top 2% pay their share. And part of mine. And that of 40 or so others who pay nothing.

Reading his posts makes me feel like I'm stuck in a Bing commercial, where everything someone says gets filtered through a search engine and random, non-responsive crap comes out the other end. He doesn't even bother responding to direct questions or points--he just reiterates an unrelated talking point that appears to have one of the same words in his mantra.

Sounds quite a bit like Congress.

I'm starting to warm up to KnightRyder, though. And, if Gibby isn't careful, he might lose his position here on this forum ;)

LOL I'm not even totally anti-union. I think they still have a place in certain situations, but KnightRyder even makes that hard to defend.

Unless you play a bunch of games with combining various taxes (some of which aren't taxes at all), you don't.

Forum rules call for proof of such claims. Please provide your tax returns, and those of a representative sample of the top earners.

I'll bet the AMT imposed on many folks creates a much higher actual percentage than you Knight Rider.

I will never, ever be in a situation whereby someone can make me believe I don't pay more than my fair share.

Not belittling those who are in the Tea Party movement. Although any insult of the Glenn Beck rally would be because that rally was about screaming and how the other side is eeeeeeeeeeevil.

What did you observe that made you think it was "whiny ass leftists"? Did you even listen to anything that was said during it?

So you copy and paste an article without even citing it and FFT is the one spewing talking points? Interesting.

Now you're taking a page from the footwedge book and just telling baldfaced lies.

Please tell us what FFT posted on this thread that weren't his own words, and were not properly cited. Bet you can't do it.

typical small minded conservative attitude. when your beat and you know it make threats. you guys come online and piss and moan about obama , but yet you probably helped elect that fool Bush. and he was quite possibly the worst president ever elected. you blamed all his failures on clinton. you know what, if you guys on right had such good ideas and all the answers obama wouldnt have gotten elected. tell me this oh wise one. if the republicans have all the right ideas , then why was GWB such a colossal failure? can you answer that?
