Look at the high roller Belly with 5 cars. No wonder he doesn't want the rich folk to get taxed more...he is one!

:P

How often do you guys change your air filter? I always notice a lot better performance when I switch that out.

the guy at the store tried to sell me the one where you can clean it yourself and not have to buy a new one. the catch was it was a lot more expensive and you had to clean it like every 3 months or something. yeah i'll stick to paying $10 a year to buy a new one.

95 saturn owned it for three years changed oil 2 times has 278k and is my daily driver uses about 1 quart of oil every three to four months.

01 stratus owned new has 201k change oil 2 times a year if that and its used for off work hours. i use cheap oil too so dont really think high dollar stuff makes a difference. both vehicles get over 30miles/gallon so i have no complaints.

never changed the airfilter on the saturn and only changed it a few times on the stratus but gonna change it again soon the gas mileage does go up with the airfilter change

The 1984 Fiero ….$500.00 I had live in my house for about two years (24 years ago) and my old neighbor die unexpectedly. His two sons came into town to do the estate. I never knew he had this car..I had never seen him drive it …they found it in the garage under a wood pile and plant pots.
They came over and ask me if I had known about this car….
I went over to look and there it was 1984 Yellow Fiero ..the one son said ..give me $1000 and it yours…I said I’ll give you $500.00 and move it out tomorrow …deal

Change to oil, check the fluids, filters, and brakes, new battery and put gas in the tank and then stiffened it out ..add new gas and started it up. My youngest daughter drove it for 3 years in high school… Great car and great on gas…

One problem after riding in this car for a hour ….getting out is not fun…

I’ve been thinking about converting it to a electric car… Quickness, Speed and Deception
Lots of space for batteries…. But it is a nice, cheap car to drive.

Electric car would be cool. It'd be a fun little project.

So, let me get this straight:

1) If you don't change your own oil, you're rich

2) If you don't change your own oil and brakes, that means you don't work hard for your possessions.

Gotcha.

Smh.

It was probably a k&n. They provide better air flow power and gas mileage and you are only supposes to clean it every 75000 miles or so. Ive had one in every vehicle I own and have owned.

Oh and I change my oil every 5000 or so

Do you really notice a difference in gas mileage? I have one in my civic and I didn't notice any difference. :(

When I was in high school, I had a '95 Chevy Lumina...I can't remember how many miles it ever had (probably well over 100K I'm assuming) but in the 3-4 years I owned and it drove it regularly, I changed the oil once. Probably put 10,000miles a year on it? Eventually the transmission dropped.
With my Honda Civic now? Usually try to every 6,000ish.

They perform better slightly dirty. I've found most autozone type workers to be absolute morons. NAPA employees are about the only one's who have any knowledge
