How does the back judge even rule that as a TD? He was standing right on top of it. Foot on the boundary line.

I have no dog in this fight but damn that was not even close.

Illini have been hosed by 3 calls, two late hits that were very questionable and then this lol.

UC is going to win the game... but that was probably one of the WORST calls I've ever seen... especially with video replay.

That's just a ridiculous ruling.

If they really think he got the left down before, they're delusional and are still drunk from their Thanksgiving feast.

I've actually been disappointed with UC today. They don't strike me as an elite team who can hang with Florida, Bama, or Texas. I've been much more impressed with TCU this year. The offense has yet to play a good defense. Their defense is just a joke.

UC has been aided by typical Illinois stupidity and lack of discipline. This game could be a lot closer right now if Juice connects with a wide open WR and the officials don't flag Illinois for a cheap 'late hit' on their 3rd and goal stop of UC.

I'm sorry, but I can't wait for Cincy to play a real football team and lose. Hopefully the refs won't hand them the game like this one and West Virginia, either.

How that was a TD, I don't know. How that late hit was a late hit, I don't know. How there was a personal foul earlier in the game giving a free 1st down to Cincy, I don't know.

11 free points have been given to Cincy if you give them that TD, and give them 4 less points for when they should have kicked a field goal but was given a 1st and goal because of a "late hit".

TCU is very well rounded and could hang with Texas and maybe Bama and Florida.

UC has yet to play against a tough defense, or against an offense that can score points.

30 points given up to the worst team in the Big Ten. This game should be 38-30 right now, but the refs have accounted for 11 points directly, and potentially more from the first "personal foul" call.

Yeah, after watching the UConn, WVU, and Illinois games, I'm going to rule UC as being imposters. I hope they get exposed next week.

Yeah I like TCU a lot. Very, very physical and well coached. I'm just glad OSU won't be playing them in a bowl.

Me too. They've got a very physical defense led by Jerry Hughes, who, IMO has raised his draft stock to a top 15-20 pick and a great LB crew.

TCU can score points AND can stop offenses.

Cincy has to rely on playing bad defenses to score a lot of points, and hope their defense doesn't blow it like they easily could have this year.

It's 36 points that Illinois has right now and this game should be no more than 38-36... But no....

As UC fans, you cannot be encouraged going into Pitt or the BCS with a defense like that. Giving up that many yards and points to Illinois is not good.

38-36...and then take in account Juice's inability to connect with wide open WR's 60 yards down field....Illinois could have been on the verge of an upset.

The only thing UC could have gained from this game was shutting Illinois down. They failed to do that. Not good

Exactly, everyone knows UC can score because they haven't really played a Top 25 defese imo. But giving up that defensively to an Illinois team has to get people worried.

But a W is a W.

Meh... Yes that was partly on Juice, but being a WR you're job is to catch the football and when the ball hits you in the hands and goes right through the bread basket, it's 95% on the WR. There's no QB other than maybe Peyton Manning in the NFL or College Football that can be almost perfectly every pass.

Either way, if Cincy plays an offense that really knows how to execute, and stop dropping passes, making proper blocks, and a QB that makes good decisions, then they'll lose easily.

I never thought being a Browns fan I'd ever root for Pittsburgh... But GO PITT!

UC has played top 25 defenses. If you think they haven't take five minutes and look up the stats. The bottom line when it comes to stopping UC's offense you need to get pressure in Tony Pike's face consistantly. Only USF was able to do that this year and Pike was knocked out with a real fluke play where he landed awkawardly on that broken arm. as for todays game UC took it very easy and kept the offense and the defense very simple. UC ran cover 3, cover 2 or quarters on every play. They might have blitzed half a dozen times. As a senior QB Juice Williams should be able to execute against repetative looks like that and he did. Illinois never had control of this game and they never seriously threatened to take controll either. UC didn't look their best, but in a game that amounted to a live practice for Tony Pike they still won with ease.
